"No Vivie, you have to wait like everyone else" Alice teased with a big smile.
"But why?!"
"Because it's not as important for us as it is for a certain someone else we know."
"What? Hmmm... maybe Edward coul—"
Violet gasped. She knew what was going to happen. And it had everything to do with Edward.
"You get it?!" Alice chirped happily.
Violet grabbed onto Alice's arm and pulled her away from Jasper "I'm stealing your girlfriend Jazzy!!"
The blonde vampire just chuckled and shook his head at his best friend and wife.
"I'd like to have her back before the end of the day, Vi!" Jasper calls out to his best friend who just waves without turning back.
Once Violet was sure they were out of vampire hearing range she turned to Alice with a huge smile on her face.
"She's his mate!!!" Violet shrieked making Alice giggle and nod excitedly.
"I'm so excited!!"
Alice nodded "I know! He's been alone for far too long!"
"I'm glad he won't be alone anymore." Violet smiles.
Alice nodded in agreement "Me too. I'm also glad he can't read your mind. It would ruin the surprise"
Violet nods "Even if he could, I wouldn't let him."
The girls excitedly giggle before skipping back to the others, who didn't question why they had run off earlier. They knew they'd understand soon enough.

Bella was sitting with her new found friends when the most beautiful people she had ever seen walked through the cafeteria doors.
"Who're they?"
Jessica and Angela turn to look at the people walking through the doors.
"The Cullens" Angela smiles
"They're uh.. Dr. and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids" Jessica states.
"They kinda keep to themselves." Angela adds.
"Yeah. Cause they're all together. Like, together, together." Looking to the Cullens then back at Bella, Jessica leans in, swinging into gossip mode. "The blonde girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark haired guy, Emmett, they're like, a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal."
"Jess, they're not actually related." Angela reminded Jessica.
"Yeah, but they live together. It's weird." Jessica whines "Okay, and the little dark haired girl, Alice, she's really weird." Jessica whispers, nudging her head to the pixie like vampire. "And.. uh...she's with Jasper. The blonde one who looks like he's in pain."
"Dr. Cullen is like this foster dad slash match maker."
Angela smiles as she adds "Maybe he'll adopt me." in a teasing manner.
"What about them?" Bella asked, nodding her head to the two younger looking students that just walked in.
"That's Edward Cullen. Totally gorgeous. Obviously. But apparently no one here is good enough for him." Jessica scoffs.
"And her?" Bella asks, wanting to know about the girl Jessica left out.
"Oh! That's Violet." Angela smiles as she waved to the dark haired girl, receiving a smile and wave back.
"Violet's not a Cullen, but she's the only one the Cullens talk to besides each other." Jessica states, shooting a small glare to said girl.
Angela noticed the looks Jessica was giving Violet and lightly elbowed her in the ribs to get her to stop.
"Anyway, she's weird too. I mean, not as weird as Alice, but some of her outfits are weird. Some of them look like they came from a different time period while others look like something you'd get out of the drama club's costume rack."
"I think she looks cute in her outfits" Angela defends. "And she does have some cute 'normal' outfits that she wears."
"And then she's always talking about, like, supernatural stuff and—"
Bella tuned out of the conversation to look at the Cullens table. They were all paired up with their partners, except for Violet and Edward who was glaring at her.
After a moment of glaring, Bella turned back around and focused back on the conversation but could still feel a piercing glare aimed at her.
What's his deal? Bella thought to herself.
That was the start of it all.
