"Really, dad?" Violet asks, shifting her eyes between Sam, and Paul and Jared.
Sam was helping Paul hold up a guy who had obviously just shifted for the first time that night.
"Sorry Vivie, but your house was closer." Sam humorously smiled.
"Whatever. Go take him to the side room." Violet huffed. "You're lucky I didn't hermit myself in there..." she mumbled.

"It's still early. Are you guys staying until he wakes up?" Violet asks, walking in with a tray holding a bowl of ice water and hand towel.
"Yeah. If you don't mind." Sam nods.
"Be my guest. But I'm not specially making extra muffins for you guys. I'm only making one batch. I'm tired." Violet nods.
The wolves nod as they watch Violet place the now wet towel on the new wolf's forehead.
"Woah! Embry?! I didn't know he had the wolf gene!" Violet gasps in surprise and stares at him in shock.
"You know him?" Paul asked, walking behind Violet and hugging her close to him.
"He's one of Jacob's friends." Violet explains, leaning into Paul's touch. "Hmm... you're so warm..." she smiles in content.
Paul smiles and kisses Violet's head. "Hmmm..."

"Thank god you're awake!" Violet exclaims "I'm exhausted..."
"Baby, I told you, you could go to sleep." Paul sighed, making his way to Violet "We could've taken care of him." He says kissing Violet on her temple.
"Maybe. But it's my job to take care of you boys." Violet playfully smiles. "Anyway, eat up, Embry. I bet you don't feel too good after shifting for the first time."
"No, not really..." Embry mumbled. "Thanks." He smiled taking a muffin. "So, this is the thing we 'wouldn't understand' huh..?" He asked, referring to the conversation the two had with Jake and Quil about Violet's dad not being a cult leader.
"Yup." Violet nodded.
The room was quiet as no one really knew what to say at the moment.
"... Okay... so.. some things to know, you'll be staying here with me for a week or two, until you can get your shifting under control. So, tomorrow pack a few bags and head back over here. This will temporarily be your room. Behind that door is a small bathroom for you to use. All your personal care products are in the medicine cabinet, feel free to walk around the house as you please. I'll be in one of the upstairs bedrooms."
"And don't try anything with my girlfriend, Call." Paul growled in warning.
"Paul, be nice." Violet chuckled "Oh! And you're more than welcome to my kitchen. But just know that if you make a mess, you're responsible for cleaning it up. Also if there's no groceries left, tell me, so I can get more."
Embry nods, not really having much to say as the whole ordeal he's going through is a lot to process.
"Okay! Well, now that, that, has been taken care of, I'm going to sleep because I'm tired as heck. Tomorrow is a school day, and I think we all need some sleep. Goodnight!"
