𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 16ᵗʰ
The Cullens seemed to be getting more and more distant from Violet and Bella, making both girls confused.
They hadn't hung out with either girl very much in the past two days and Violet missed her friends. She was very tempted to look into their minds to see what was going on, but decided not to. She didn't want to invade their privacy.
"Hey, Rose! Do you want to go shopping after school?" Violet chirps upon seeing the blonde vampire.
"Sorry, Vivie. Urgent family business after school." Rose says offering the shorter girl a sad smile.
"Oh... okay... is everything okay? You know, you guys have been kinda distant lately..."
"I know.. and I'm sorry, but things are just... there's a lot going on right now." Rosalie explains.
"Yeah, no, of course. No worries." Violet smiles.
Rosalie offers a sad smile before briskly walking away.
Violet looks sadly at her retreating friend as a new but familiar voice comes from behind her.
"Hey!"
Violet immediately perks up upon hearing Maddy.
"Hey!" Violet smiles widely.
"You coming to the party?" Maddy asks.
"Of course I am!" Violet cheers. "Is Fez gonna be there?" She whispered.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Molly. Duh."
"Bitch I haven't seen you take Molly since freshman year." Maddy laughs.
"I know. There's been a lot going on." Violet laughs.
"Don't I know it. Your dad and the pack right?" Maddy asks, giving a knowing smile, making Violet nod.
Maddy was the first ever outsider to know about the shifters. Violet thought it was best to tell her best friend because no one would fight or go against the Perez girl.
If Maddy was able to distract or guid people away from the wolf shifters then she would be their greatest ally.
Which she was.
"Those other two are shifters too right? They're new?"
"Yup. Paul's the newest shifter." Violet smiles warmly.
"Girl, you look like a love sick puppy." Maddy teases.
"I do not." Violet tries to deny.
"You totally do. You like Paul don't you?" Maddy smiles teasingly.
"Who likes Paul?" A deep voice asks from behind the girls.
