"Hey, dad!" "Hey, Sam!"
"Hey!" Sam smiled as the two girls threw their bags on the table.
"Hi, mom!" "Hi, Emily!"
"Hey!" Emily smiled pulling Maddy in for a hug.
"Hey, Maddy's gonna be living with me for a while. She's got some home stuff going on. You know, just in case." Violet tells her parents casually.
"Oh... sweetheart..." Emily coos. "You're always welcome around here."
"Thanks, Emily!" Maddy smiles gratefully.
"Oh! And if Nate calls? Maddy's not here. They broke up, and Nate's being clingy." Violet adds.
"Literally! Like, it's beyond imprint clingy. And it's really not a love clingy, it's like, possessive clingy." Maddy nods.
"I never liked that guy..." Emily sighed thoughtfully.
"Mhmm..." Sam and Violet nodded.
"Damn, none of ya'll liked him?" Maddy asks, shocked.
"Nope!" Everyone chimed.

"I was thinking a long wing, with gems on the underside..."
"Oh, obviously! And you should put one, like, in the inner corner of your eyes." Violet nodded.
"Oh, yes!" Maddy nods.
"And there goes the peace and quiet" Violet sighed as loud voices could be heard from outside.
"Girl, how do you live with so many rowdy guys in the same house as you?" Maddy laughs.
"Simple. I don't!" Violet laughs.
The pack piled into the house hollering and hooting making the girls look over to them.
Paul immediately makes his way to Violet, kissing her temple and picking her up only to place her back down on his lap.
"You two are literally the cutest couple ever." Maddy smiles.
"Oh! Maybe someone will imprint on you! Then we can be pack sisters! And of course you'll finally be treated the way you deserve to be treated!" Violet smiles happily.
"That would be nice." Maddy nods. "No gaslighting, no manipulation, no toxicity, just love and respect for one another."
"I think you and Embry would make a good couple..." Violet outwardly thinks. "He's the newest wolf. He's genuinely a really nice guy. He's got a fun and loving personality. I know he'd treat you like the queen you are." Violet smiled. "Speaking of Embry, where is he?" Violet asks, looking up at her boyfriend.
