Midnight

Slight mention of sexual harassment and unwanted advances towards a person!

You'd been at Beth's for around an hour and you'd been given drinks left, right and centre meaning you were already feeling very drunk. Beth's cousin Bianca had also come to spend the evening celebrating the new year, she played for Reading at the moment but she wanted to move to Arsenal to be with her cousin.
You finished the drink you currently had and stepped outside onto Beth's patio. The cold breeze brushed over your cheeks and you begin to sway slightly as you realised how intoxicated you actually are.
"Hey." A voice behind you startled you slightly.
"Oh, hey." You turn to see Bianca stood just outside the door behind you smiling. Your heart sank a little when you realise it's not Leah.
"How are you feeling? You look a tad drunk." Bianca laughed.
"Yep. Katie keeps feeding me shots two at a time because everyone finds it funny that I do two in one." You laugh at how easily entertained your teammates are.
"It's quite a skill to be fair. It's also quite sexy." Your body goes still from the words coming from Bianca's mouth.
"Haha, thank you, I guess." You say nervously. This is the kind of situation you hated being in. You knew Leah was inside and had no idea what was going on and you feel guilty even just receiving the compliment.
"Are you single?" Bianca asks, moving slowly towards you.
"Yeah, I am. I'm not really looking for anything at the moment though, I just got out of a shit relationship." You huff, hoping she would get the hint.
"That's okay. I can do casual if you're interested." She smiles at you and bites her lip, you begin to open your mouth to reject her advances but you're interrupted by Katie.
"You two, inside, now, truth or dare!" She bellows out of the back door. You both laugh and you follow Bianca back inside.
You walk past Leah and sit beside her again but Bianca decides to sit the other side of you so you're stuck in the middle.
"You okay?" Leah whispers.
You nod and signal your eyes towards Bianca.
"She's trying it on with me." You manage to whisper to Leah and her face drains of colour immediately.
She looks the girl next to you up and down and subtly strokes your leg, making you tremble inside.
The game starts light and silly and you actually enjoy it, until it's Bianca's turn and she opts for a dare.
"Okay. I dare you to kiss the person in this room that you find most attractive." Katie says laughing. Your stomach drops instantly and you look at Leah who's face is as panic stricken as yours.
"Wait. Wait. Do we really need to be doing things like that?" Leah says quickly throwing her arms out so that Bianca couldn't physically get to you.
"Why not? It's just a bit of fun?" Bianca says, she pushes Leah's arm out of the way and Leah watches helplessly as she leans in to kiss you.
She makes contact with your lips and you immediately push her away trying to wriggle out of the way.
"What are you doing?" You ask defensively.
"She said kiss the person you find most attractive and I am." She goes to kiss you again and you put your hands firmly on her shoulders to keep her getting any closer to you.
"I'm flattered but no thank you." You say through gritted teeth.
"Fine. Suit yourself." Bianca gets up and storms off into the kitchen.
"I'll go check on her. Sorry Y/N." Beth shoots you a sympathetic look before going to follow her cousin.
"Are you okay?" Leah asks quietly.
You nod while fiddling with your rings, you couldn't even look at Leah at the moment. You just wish she'd have stepped in to save you and been your knight in shining armour.
"Okay then, Y/N. Truth or dare." Katie carries the game on.
"Truth." You say quickly.
"Okay. Do you fancy anyone in the squad?" Katie narrows her eyes in anticipation for your answer. Everyone is silent and awaiting your answer.
"Yes." You say confidently.
"Who?" About five of them shout like a bunch of hooting owls.
"I'm not saying, it's one question." You say smugly and lean back, you can feel Leah's eyes burning into the side of your face in the fear that you'll expose the two of you.
"Leah, your turn! Truth or dare?" Katie shouts excitedly.
You see Leah deep in thought, measuring up how risky either options were.
"Fine. Dare." Leah sits up and prepares herself. Your whole body fills with dread.
"Kiss the person who you liked the least at the start of the season but now get on with." Katie wiggles her eyebrows.
The whole room looks at the two of the us. Everyone knows that the only person Leah didn't like at the start of the season was you.
Leah turns towards you slightly and your stomach starts to leap. Leah licks her lips, places her hand on the side of your face and kisses you. Your whole body melts at the feeling of Leah's lips on yours. Everyone starts to wolf whistle and the two of you break apart.
"You've definitely made up now haven't you." Katie laughs with everyone else including you and Leah.
"I think she's figured it out." Leah whispers to you in a low voice.
"Yeah, me too." You nudge Leah playfully and she nudges you back.
"Guys its 10 minutes until midnight, everyone go and get a drink and get ready!" Beth comes back in and announces.
"I'm going to the toilet." Leah squeezes your leg gently and gets up.
"I'm gonna go get a drink." You get up and head back outside to get a little bit of air again.
You unbutton your shirt a little to allow yourself to cool down quicker, it was quite hot inside.
"Here you are." Your body tenses as you realise Bianca has followed you outside once again.
"What?" You ask.
"What was all that about? Or would you rather nobody knew." She approaches you and puts her hand against the wall next to your head, her body in front of you blocking your exit.
"No. I'm not into you, I don't mean it in a harsh way but I just don't want anything from you." You turn your head to the side as her face grows closer to yours.
"You're so sexy." You feel her breath on your neck as she looks down your open shirt to see the lace bra you had put on for Leah's benefit.
"Thank you but I'm not interested." You try and push her away from you as she was starting to scare you.
"Come on, I won't tell anyone." She puts her hand on your face and pins you against the wall with her body.
You close your eyes and push against her with all you have when you hear a thud. You open your eyes and she's sprawled on the floor rubbing her face. Leah is stood next you shaking her hand in pain. She had just punched her square in the side of the head.
"No means no, unless you want me to phone the police and do you for sexual harassment I suggest you fuck off." She spits at Bianca who starts to get to her feet.
You look at the floor, embarrassed that you let yourself get into this situation.
"You've lost it, Williamson." She rubs her jaw and storms off straight out of the side gate.
You look up at Leah who's jaw is clenched as she watches Bianca leave.
"Leah, I'm sorry." Your voice starts to tremble a little as you realise what's just happened.
"Never apologise. You didn't do anything wrong. I heard you, you said no and she didn't stop." She pulls you into her arms and you hold her tight.
"I didn't want her to, Le." You whisper into her neck.
"Hey, I know you didn't. She was right about one thing though." Leah smiles down at you.
"What's that?" You ask puzzled.
"You do look sexy." Leah sees the bra that you had worn especially for her and bites her lip.
"I'm wearing a matching thong." You whisper into her ear, which seems to send her over the edge.
Leah pushes you against the wall with her body and smashes her lips against yours. You pull her against you as much as you can and kiss her back, wanting her more and more. You slide your hand into the waistband of her trousers and stroke her underwear which was warm and wet to the touch. She let out a breathy moan and bit your bottom lip in response.
"It's nearly midnight." You whisper breathlessly against Leah's lips.
"We should go back in." Leah says as she finally stops kissing you. You hug her tight once more.
"Thank you for being my knight in shining armour." You stare adoringly into the sparkling blue eyes of the blonde in front of you.
"I'd do anything for you." Leah kisses you delicately once more.
"You two we've only got two minutes until- OH MY GOD I KNEW IT!!" Katie launches herself out of the back door and starts jumping up and down excitedly.
Leah looks at you with a panicked expression before you both start laughing at Katie.
"Right, you don't tell anybody McCabe, okay? Even Rue." Leah points sternly at Katie.
"Okay, fine. I promise. But it is nearly midnight so come on." Katie ushers you both in quickly and you all run to the living room where the countdown was beginning.
"Where had you two disappeared to?" Viv shouted from across the room.
"Needed some air." You shout back giving her a thumbs up, she nods and smiles back.
"5....4....3....2....1....HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone shouts all at the same time. Everyone in the room starts jumping up and down and cheering. You look around the room and everyone is kissing someone or talking to someone, nobody is looking at you or Leah. You turn towards her, she's already looking at you.
"Happy New Year, Le." You kiss her quickly on the lips and she smiles at you, it was like nobody else was in the room, just the two of you.
Leah looks around to double check nobody had seen you, they hadn't. She pulls you into her arms tightly and whispered gently in your ear.
"This is our year."
