After you'd calmed down in the car park for half an hour or so you drove back to your parents after your mum had texted you apologising and Leah collected your things from her.
You drove back to Leah's parents' house so she could get in her car and you could both drive back home.
"Are you coming back to mine?" Leah asked, closing her boot.
"Um. Yeah, I just need to pop home and get a few bits though if that's okay?" You shifted slightly, you'd left the presents that you'd bought Leah at your house after you got them delivered a couple of days before hand.
"Yeah, sure. Do you want to stay?" Leah smiled the smile that she knew you couldn't resist.
"Obviously I want to stay, Williamson. You might as well have my name written on that pillow." You wrap your arms around her waist and pull her into you.
"I'm yours, remember." Leah gently kisses your lips, slowly. You inhale deeply, this women drove you insane.
"And I'm yours, Le." You kiss her again.
"What time will you be round?" She asked eagerly.
"I'll literally chuck a few things in my bag and be over so probably like half an hour after you get home. I won't be long, I promise." Leah grins at you.
"Okay, see you soon." She kisses you again, more passionately this time to be interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
Amanda stood with the front door open.
"Safe drive home both of you. It was lovely to meet you dear. I hope we see you again soon." She smiles widely at you.
"Thank you so much Amanda, it's been lovely. See you soon." You blow her a kiss and get in your car.
You wave at Leah out of your window before you set off for the M1.
You admired the sunset as you drove down the motorway, listening to Leah's playlist once again which was becoming somewhat a comfort to you. But all you could find yourself thinking about is what she'd said yesterday. You could help but let it niggle at you, had she really meant it or was it just something that came out in the heat of the moment? Your head whirled with questions as you exited the motorway and headed for your house.
When you pulled up on the drive you grabbed all of your gifts from your parents and headed to the front door. You shiver as you enter, you haven't been home properly for nearly a week and the heating hadn't been on so the house was freezing.
You run straight upstairs and grab some more underwear and t-shirts to take with you. You stop before you exit your bedroom and turn back to go to your bedside table. You grab a toy from your bedside table and walk over to your chest of drawers to grab some lingerie, just in case you felt confident enough to try it.
Your phone buzzes in your pocket and you pull it out to check.1 New Message

Hey you, you heading over soon? Miss you already x
You always found yourself smiling like an idiot at Leah's texts, you type back a quick reply telling her you were just leaving. After shoving everything in your bag you head back out the door and hop back in your car to drive to Leah's.
Within minutes you're pulling onto her driveway and walking back up the familiar steps to her front door.
You raise your hand to knock but the door opens and you're greeted by your favourite blonde with a huge smile on her face. Your heart leapt up and down excitedly in your chest confirming to you more what effect this woman has on you.
"Hello, you." Leah grabs your hand and pulls you inside, closing the door behind you.
"Hey. So, what shall we do tonight?" You ask, placing your bag on the floor in the hallway and taking your hoodie off.
"Movie night?" Leah suggests, raising her eyebrows.
"Yeah! We haven't done that properly yet." You head to the sofa with Leah.
"Wait." Leah quickly runs off into the kitchen and brings out some popcorn already in bowls.
"You better had just done that it that's going to be very chewy." You laugh taking the bowl from her.
"Nah, I put it in the microwave when you said you were on your way." Leah grinned.
"How did you know I'd definitely say yes to movie night?" You say playfully.
"Because you can't say no to me." Leah winks at you as she tosses a piece of popcorn in her mouth and you shake your head in disbelief.
"One day I will, Williamson." She makes a shocked face and you both erupt into laughter. You spend the next 3 hours watching films until you can't stop thinking about Leah's new year plans.
"Le, what are you doing for New Year?" Your head is resting in her lap as she absentmindedly stroked your hair.
"Probably Beth and Viv's, are you coming?" Leah asked.
"Yeah, I was thinking about that." You look up absently at the ceiling.
"We can't go together though." Leah said quietly.
"What? Why not?" You sit up quickly and Leah looks hurt.
"Nobody knows that we've been seeing each other and I don't think it's a good idea that they know, not yet." Leah tries to reason with you but all you can do is feel yourself getting upset.
"Fine. I get it. You're ashamed of me." You tried to fight back the tears.
"No, no, no. Not at all." Leah pleads.
"Why then? Give me one good reason why?" You feel a single tear roll down your cheeks as your emotions take over.
"Because we're still in the early stages. I don't want them to know straight away because that puts a pressure on our relationship. An expectation of us having to be and act a certain way. Plus, I'm going to need to tell Jordan, out of respect." You let Leah's words sink in. What she said actually did make sense and you hadn't really thought about it. You sit in silence for a moment while Leah fiddles with her rings awaiting your response.
"Okay. I get your point." You finally say, allowing Leah to exhale.
"It's nothing to do with you or me. I want this to work so I don't want to rush anything or put any unnecessary strain on our relationship. As soon as people know, things change." Leah reaches for your hand to pull you back to her. You accept and snuggle back into her side.
"I really want this to work too." You sigh.
"So, if we get a taxi to drop us round the corner from Beth's then I'll wait 5 minutes after you and it'll be fine." Leah stroked your hair again.
"Okay. Do you know how hard it'll be not to kiss you at midnight?" You peer at Leah through your eyelashes.
"We might have to excuse ourselves for 5 minutes." Leah laughs, kissing the top of your head.
The probing question was on the tip of your tongue. You desperately wanted to know if what Leah had said was true, but you just couldn't bring yourself to do it. And with that thought your eyelids start to feel heavy and you drift off in Leah's arms.————————————————————
