can i go 5 games without getting injured somehow? i guess not.
this ankle injury is keeping me out until the third of november and i can't travel to the away games.
i'm confined to my couch at the moment while the team is in detroit player the red wings again.
the two games after that are here in new jersey, hopefully i'll at least be able to go to those ones. i should be able to go, considering at the time of the game i'll have been on bed rest for 3 days already.
my ankle isn't as swollen anymore, but still hurts when i put pressure on it. i'm taking tylenol around the clock to help.
i'm watching the pre game news and stuff, which i've never watched before. this is my first time watching a devils game at home since i've been on the team.
when i got drafted, i was hoping it was to the devils because that's the team i grew up watching.
trevor, jack, and i were all hoping to go to the devils actually. we were all good friends at one point in time.
as you know, that went down the drain.
i was really happy for jack when he got the first overall pick. trevor got drafted ninth to the ducks, i got picked absolutely last in the draft.
after getting picked last in the draft and my rookie season being absolutely horrible, it really deteriorated my confidence.
it also created a lot of anxiety and pressure for me. it's already hard enough to prove yourself in any league, but i have to go to greater lengths because i don't have xy chromosomes.
