Haruto
I ran around in my red Dyna Brother and practiced my mobility. My siblings and my friends trained as well and Gauma watched, pushing us all to be our best.
"That's good! Keep it up!" Gauma shouted.
"Mattaku...when is training going to be over?" Keiko said.
"I don't think it's going to be over until Gauma-ojisan says so," Izumi said.
I smiled at them, then we all looked to the sky and saw a figure coming down. "That's...!"
They landed and they looked at us. "Hello, everyone." Grid greeted us.
"Grid! You're finally here!" Akito shouted.
"Let's train, Takuya, Grid!" I said to them.
They stare at us, then they frown. "Gomen, everyone. This is goodbye..."
I was confused by what he said. "Grid, what do you-"
Suddenly, Akito disappeared, then Izumi, then Keiko, then Keide. "Until we meet again..."
I was pushed out of my Dyna Brother and I fell to the ground. "Ow..." I looked up and saw Grid along with our figures going up to the sky. "Everyone..."
Grid glowed and flew away, then the others followed. I raised my hand to the sky as I tried to reach for my Dyna Brother.
"Dyna Brother...wait! Don't leave!" Its eyes glowed and it turned around. "Wait! I don't want you to leave!" It flew away and followed Grid and the others.
I suddenly woke up and raised my hand. "Don't-" I stopped myself from saying anymore and looked around; it was all a dream.
I lowered my hand and placed it on my forehead, then I sighed. Another dream...
I was sleeping on the bottom of our bunk bed and I looked up to see my brother who was still sleeping quietly. I looked at the time on our clock and saw that it was a few minutes before our alarm. I got up and went to prepare myself for school.
After that, I went to the kitchen and sat down at the kitchen table. Instead of grabbing some breakfast, I stared at the table and thought about the dream.
Ever since Grid left, I always have had dreams about the Grid Alliance. But...why?
Suddenly, I was touched on the shoulder and I turned to see my mother. "You're already awake?" she asked.
"Y-yeah. Ohayou, Okaa-san." I greeted her and she smiled.
"Not going to eat anything?"
"I will, it's just that...I thought about something."
She went to wash her hands and began to cook. "What were you thinking about?"
"Um...well..."
"Ohayou, Okaa-san, Haruto." Izumi said from behind me.
"Ohayou."
Izumi sat down at the kitchen table and looked at me. "Haruto, are you okay?"
"Eh? Yeah...I'm fine..."
She stared at me and I gulped. I didn't want to lie, but at the same time...I didn't want her to worry.
"Haruto, don't lie."
I looked at her, then I sighed. "I...I just had a dream, that's all..."
"A dream? Is it about your crush at school?" our mother jokingly said.
