Izumi

After two days, kaijus stopped appearing. During that time, we used the Fixer Beam to repair the entire city and help the people who survived.

Today was the weekend, and since my brothers and I don't have work to do, we decided to visit the charity our parents worked at.

The Asanaka Foundation

We arrived at the building and saw our father in front of a crowd of people inside. "Everyone, thank you for coming!"

"Otou-san is going to give a speech?" Haruto asked.

"Seems like it."

The three of us went closer to the crowd and listened. "As you know, all of us in this city have been going through tough times."

"Is he talking about the kaiju attacks?" Akito asked.

"Quiet."

He continued. "There are those who're struggling with money, struggling to get aid, or even struggling to help your families. I assure you, with my friends and co-workers here, we shall support everyone to the fullest!"

The people around us clapped and cheered him on, then the three of us did the same.

"If any of you or people you know need any assistance with medical care, finding a home, or getting food and water, let us help!"

The crowd cheered louder and they were all happy. They were mostly loyal supporters and people who the charity has aided and they continued to come.

"It's gotten much bigger since the last time we came," said Haruto.

"Of course. Otou-san keeps his promises and helps out anyone in need. That's why there are so many people." I said.

I looked behind our father and saw my mother behind the curtains. She waved at us and I waved back at her.

After the speech, the people went to a different room to eat and drink. The three of us went towards our parents and greeted them.

"Okaa-san. Otou-San."

"Izumi, Haruto, Akito. You came." said our father.

"Otou-san, you seem tired. Are you alright?" Akito asked.

He laughed nervously. "I'm fine. The charity is always like this, so sometimes it may be stressful."

"Your father hasn't taken a break since this morning. You should really learn how to take care of yourself, Yomogi." He laughed nervously at our mother.

"Otou-san, you can take a break now, right?"

He nodded. "So why are you guys here?"

"We didn't have any work so we decided to come and see if you needed help."

Our parents smiled at us. "Arigatou." We nodded and smiled as well.

"Izumi! You guys came!"

We turned to look and saw Gauma. "Gauma-ojisan? What're you doing here?"

"You parents called me to help out here. Since Takuya and Rin are home, I didn't have to babysit Ayaka."

"Oh, about that. How is she?"

He sighed. "Still doesn't like me. Cries almost every time I hold her."

We all laughed and he grunted. Footsteps came towards us and we looked to see Sachi.

"So this is the charity? I never knew it was this big."

"Can we help you?" my mother asked.

"Okaa-san, Otou-san, this is Shinjo Sachi; Shinjo Akane's daughter." I said.
