Chapter 15:

Biana POV:

The cold air bit at my cheeks, and I could feel the tears on my face freezing up, causing them to become a mask-like substance on my face. I quickly wiped them off before anymore could stain my face, but their was no use. The tears flowed out of my eyes like a waterfall. Never ending. I curled up onto a wooden bench beneath a willow tree and sobbed. Hugging my knees to my chest.

I could hear someone's heavy breathing in the distance but decided to ignore it. As soft footsteps came closer, slowing as they reached the bench, I tried to wipe as many tears off my face.

"Biana?" Tams soothing voice came from behind me.

I sniffled in response, trying to tell him that I wasn't in the mood to talk, but he either didn't notice or didn't care because he casually walked around the bench and sat beside me. He looked forward, not looking at my face which I was thankful for.

"You okay?" Tam finally asked.

I could feel frustration boiling in my chest. Obviously I wasn't okay! I was sitting on a park bench at midnight crying for gods sake. "Yup, totally fine." I muttered sarcastically.

I could see Tam biting the bottom of his lip, trying to hold in a smile.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Tam whispered, almost inaudible.

I held in my breath, "I'm not sure."

"I understand," Said Tam, meaning his words. He was probably as confused as I was, unless he knew that Sam...

Realization struck.

Sam? Sam...liked me?

Sam POV:

What had I done?

Tears stung the corners of my eyes. I legs gave out under me and I collapsed to the ground, but no one seemed to notice because of just how in-shock they were. I wanted to run away and hide from everyone, so they couldn't see the tears that were pouring from my eyes, running down my face, and hitting the ground with soft 'plop's'. I counted the tears as they hit the ground, and for a few seconds, that was all I could hear.

I heard people whispering, as they slowly shuffled away, but a handful of people still stayed, watching me like it was their favourite TV program and the climax of the show was on the screen. I usually didn't mind too much attention but this felt overbearing. Like every eye that casted my way added a weight to my chest. I saw Tam running after Biana, and I couldn't blame him. He must be feeling ten times worse than I am.
