*ON HOLD* Childhood (A Tiana kotlc Story)

Chapter 16: (When Sam and Tam met)

Just a heads-up, this chapter will take place 2 years after Tam and Biana met. Right now, they are BFF's and are never seen apart. Just thought you should know for context

Sam POV:

I saw Tam in his usual seat next to Biana, who was thoughtfully colouring. I watched him as he tried to concentrate on his colouring page but was too focused on watching Biana colour in the lines like a pro. It was a miracle on how Biana didn't notice Tam was watching her colour, or maybe she knew and just enjoyed the attention. 

I mean, it was foolish watching Tam ogle Biana, but at the same time, I couldn't blame him. I felt the same way. 

That night, in my little grade 1 brain, I formed a plan.

--------------------The Next Day-------------------

"Hey Tam!" I said like we'd been platonic BFF's since forever.

Tam looked at me questioningly, probably trying to figure out why I was talking to him, "Hi?".

"Mind if I sit with you?" I asked.

Tam seemed really suspicious, and maybe even knew my plan, but said a small "Sure".

"Thanks!" I said with a smile. Was I being too optimistic?

Just then, Biana walked in and sat down next to Tam, not even noticing that I was sitting down at their table.

"Oh, Hi Biana! I didn't know you sat at this table." I said, trying to be oblivious.

Biana turned her head to finally look at me, then we caught eyes and she smiled at me.

Wow.

She had a beautiful smile.

Then I noticed the piercing glare that was being thrown my way by Tam and immediately stopped looking at Biana.

"What do you mean?" Tam said in a hushed tone, "You were staring at us just the other day." Tam said accusingly.

"U-um" I stuttered. I wasn't sure what I was more caught up in, Tam catching my lie, or him calling him and Biana a 'Us'.

I looked away from Tam's probing gaze and decided just to continue colouring before I guilt-puked over everything.

--------------------After School, In Sam's Room------------------

I think my plan is going fairly well. I should be able to get closer to Biana if I befriend Tam, but it's harder than it looks. How did Biana become friends with this loser? I'm going to have to ask.

I wrote down all the steps down on a piece of paper:

Mission Impossible:

Step 1:

Become friends with Tam so I can get closer to Biana

Step 2:

Be nice around Tam and Biana so they don't suspect anything

Step 3:

Be kind and help Biana so she can like me

Step 4:

Me and Biana get married!

I nodded my approval. This was bound to work.
