In a world of make-believe,
Where reality's hard to perceive,
There lives a mind that's caught
In delusions, twisted and fraught. The world around may seem so strange,
With people's motives all deranged,
And every word that's said or heard
Is filtered through a lens that's blurred. The delusions dance and play,
A mind in chaos, led astray,
And every effort to break free
Only adds to the mystery. For in this world of make-believe,
Where nothing is quite as it seems,
The mind is lost, a captive slave,
To a delusion that cannot be saved. And yet, perhaps, there's hope to find,
A way to free the shackled mind,
To break the chains of twisted thought,
And see the world as it truly ought. So let us reach out with our hand,
And try to help, to understand,
For in this world of make-believe,
We all could use a little reprieve.
