Santiago was in his third block pretty much bored out of his mind. He hadn't had that great of lunch since he hadn't really made any friends as a freshman and wasn't lucky enough to have an older sibling to tag along with. Not only was he an only child but he was also new to not only the school but the town. His family had moved here during the summer and Santiago had to leave all his old friends. He could only talk to them via messages. He missed his friends and the comfort of his old school. He didn't know how this school would react if anyone knew he was trans. Luckily his parents were supportive and at his old school he had supportive friends and the staff were LGBTQ+ friendly as well, if anyone bullied or messed with him he knew he could tell the staff. Though most of the staff here have been fine and nice Santiago was worried about the students, some teens can be awfully cruel. Thankfully though there had been little talk since Santiago did look masculine he guessed nobody questioned it, also the principal agreed to use Santiago's name and make sure his teachers did too so nobody had guessed Santiago was trans. He was still worried about it getting out though and just hoped it wouldn't, he didn't need problems along with being the new kid.
