It took a better half of the day to find a safe and secure place big enough for all of you to stay at. Since it the sun was already near the horizon by the time you all settled into the new flat, you all decided to get your remaining belongings the next day. Even though you had a good night's sleep, you till felt exhausted from the previous day, the boys looked just as tired as you.

And so when you all gathered up the food and water you had, blankets and weapons the boys possessed, you all breathed out and rested.

And so the days had gone by idly.

Occasionally a zombie would roam the street or venture its way into a shop you've just been looking through.

And there was the other thing - almost every shop was completely empty, if not for a couple cans or instant soups. Not to mention water. Everytime it rained, you'd fill up all the empty plastic bottles you had to have at least something to drink.

But there was an unspoken dread in the air, a worry that was in all of your minds but no one dared say it aloud.

If this is how things are gonna go, we'll have to move again. Somewhere, where we could find more food.

But there wasn't always tension in the house, no. A lot of the days were usually out in a friendly atmosphere and you have gotten significantly closer to all of them.

Even Eugene, who didn't despise you now as at the beginning - you thought he even got to already thinking of you as a friend, actually.

And you had to admit, you kind of fell in love with every of them.

You didn't want to get close to anybody at the start, but it was hard not to get close to Harry with his caring smiles, to Zion with his corny jokes, to Ethan with his calm yet catching persona, to Eugene with his snarky remarks and a sense of humor which he seemed to share with Zion.

Lawrence, on the other hand, gave you very mixed feelings in your guts and you didn't know whether he was making you nervous (in a good way) or uncomfortable (in a bad way) with his presence sometimes. There was just this tingling, lingering feeling you felt when the two of you were alone. This vibe coming from him, but you just couldn't quite put your finger on what it was.

But oh boy, did you feel it a lot.

And a cherry on the top, Lawrence seemed to develop a strange affection towards you. He'd cast glances at the other boys when they got in close proximity to you or casually hugged or draped their hand over your shoulder. They didn't seem to catch them, but they didn't manage to go unnoticed by you who could practically feel his eyes burning holes into the boys' backs. Besides, he'd always suggest you two go on patrols together. And even though he acted just as normal as always, carrying a light conversation, joking or planning the next day, the weird feeling remained.

There was just something off about him.

You thought about it a lot and it must've been a lot obvious since Harry always found you pondering and caught you unguarded with his question, "something troubling you?"

You'd answer with a shake of your head, to which he'd reply, "you know you can always talk to me, right?"

Honestly, Harry seemed to have a lot on his plate already. You didn't want to make him worry more with your insignificant problems. There was often this sadness behind his cheerful eyes and bright smiles, a deep sadness - but you could never quite be sure for it faded before you knew. It was hard to guess what was sometimes going on in his head, even if he acted as if everything was okay.

Zion, on the other hand, you could read him like an open book. He was loud and loved to chatter and joke around, always making sure to exclaim which emotional state he was in each day.
