   "Magnolia?...Magnolia...?." Eddie trailed off.

"Eddie seriously, I need you to just stop." She hissed crossing her arms and clenching her jaw. It was one thing for Eddie to be careless enough to get high with Jonathan and argyle but it was a whole other thing to completely embarrass her in front of her mother.

Just moments before, Magnolia had finally taken the opportunity to ask her mother for Eddie to spend the night. She had planned for them to do it together, she had hoped it would make her mother less inclined to say no. However that plan was shortly lived when Eddie had wandered into her room his eyes bloodshot red. She scolded him for being dumb enough to get a high at a time like this but of course he paid no mind, instead focusing on the fish that swam around in the her fish tank.

Magnolia had made him promise her that he would stay locked in her room while she spoke to her mother, Eddie's presence would only complicate things further.

At first everything was going smoothly and Eddie had kept his promise, until he grew bored and forgot what he was waiting for. Jonathan and Argyle had let him out of Magnolias room before they all burst into her mothers bedroom door reeking of pot.

The entire time they had spent making a fool of themselves Magnolia had grown redder by the second, a mixture of rage and embarrassment. Lucky for her, her mother remained non the wiser, assuming that the three were coming down with something. She simply offered them some Tylenol and offered Eddie a spot on the couch for the night.

Magnolia grumbled "you promised me Eddie..." her lip drew into a scowl.

"Did I?" Eddie smiled hoping to lighten the mood. Magnolia looked at him with dangerous eyes. If she could she'd probably erupt him into flames. Eddie signed rubbing his eyes. "Okay look I'm sorry...it was totally wrong of me to do that."

Magnolia scoffed rolling her eyes and ignoring him. Her attention still focused on the movie that played on her small TV.

He groaned throwing himself backwards against Magnolias bed. He reached for her black stuffed bunny at the corner of the bed. His shirt riding up in the process, exposing a small dark trail of hairs leading to just below his belt. Magnolia couldn't help but notice it with a small blush creeping up her neck.

"I'm trying to apologize to her." He spoke to the plush. "but she just won't budge...what should I do?" He asked and waited as if the bunny would respond. He scrunched his brows as if he'd heard something while pulling the bunny towards his ear. Magnolia couldn't help it, She turned her head away from his view to hide her smile, She hated that she couldn't ever be mad at him, it felt wrong.
