Sunday | April 6th 2030 | ? AM | The treehouse

Taylor Narrator: It's been a month since I ran away. I have survived by sneaking and stealing things from shops and staying in the treehouse, I haven't heard anything from me running away. I haven't heard anything at all, the last thing I heard was the protest...I hope Mother is okay...I've  cleaned up the abandoned building a little, just picking up rubbish and moving some furniture that still lives, the stove barley has any gas in it but it works a little, I was planning on finding something to give the house some power to charge my phone.

I found an old book full of stories and the daily life of what the past owner of this place went through, it was Cassy's book. I don't know much about them but they seemed like a nice teenager trying to run away from family problems like I am. But my mother isn't an alcoholic like Cassy's. I've read through Cassy's dairy, I guess it is, and her and Autumn, her best friend have been through a lot together, they have never been apart, until Felix and Autumn got together. I was reading that Cassy really liked Autumn but Cassy never knew that her heart would've never been with Autumn, just another lonely soul to keep themselves company. Except they had found someone, Jake. He would party with Cassy all the time, but at one party he drank too much and got a heart attack, the alcohol poisoning was too strong and died on the way to the hospital. When Autumn and Felix dropped out and left Cassy alone...B had left Cassy for other friends to be more popular and Cassy followed their mother's footsteps and started to become an alcoholic. Cassy would drink constantly each day and visit Autumn and her new baby Zoe, but Cassy never felt the joy Autumn or B had, so she committed. Hanged by her own treehouse. Cassy's mother left the country and started a new life to forget it all...

Listening to Cassy's story really gave me a new perspective on things, of how lucky I was, I got the dream that Cassy never had. I wanted to give Cassy the funeral and say that I understand her situation and why she committed...If someone other than me is reading this, if this book even lives through the years...If you are going through the same stuff I need you to know something...I'm proud of you for making it this far, for making choices even though you might regret it. There is someone out there in the world that would be the perfect teammate the perfect match weather it would be a partner, family, friend, yourself or even possibly a stranger. Someone out there is proud of what you have completed, no matter how small it is.

*Taylor closes the diary *

Taylor's mind: I think it's time for me to go back home.
*Taylor grabs their bag and climbs down the ladder *

Taylor: Thank you Cassy. For letting me see this tree house, I wish you peace and I hope you have forgiveness from God or anyone. Thank you for showing me my way. My journey.

*Taylor runs through the forest back their house*
