(Third person POV)
Clara ran out of the tunnel and sealed it back up again. She then ran to Toby's sleeping quarters and started banging on the door.
"Toby! Open up! You won't believe what I've discovered earlier!"
Toby opened the door. Clara said, "Finally-" before stopping. Toby's eyes were red as though he had been crying.
"What is it, Clara?"
"First off, I should be asking, have you been crying?"
Toby looked surprised. "Um, no." he said hastily, wiping tear marks off his face.
"Toby, I literally saw you give seconds ago looking like you just had a mental breakdown. Tell me what's wrong,please. I'll listen."
Toby sighed and said, "This thing happening now... It's affecting me more than you think."
"What? Are you mildly hypnotised too?" Clara said, panicky.
"No, nothing like that. It's just... With all that's happened, and this new change happening so soon before we could recover from our previous experience, it hit me hard. Like a semi truck."
Clara looked at him before saying, "Hey, I'm pretty sure some people have it worse than or have the same feelings as you. Like me, for example. We're both similar in a way. We both got framed. Though not together, at least there's some similarity."
"Or because you got killed." said a voice. The two of them turned around and saw Pastel standing there.
"How long have you been there- oh right. Vampire powers." Clara said.
"Well, being killed was one thing for you. But for all of us, witnessing the third death of the day really shook us to our cores. It really hit the four of us hard, harder than Twilight's and Cloudy's deaths did." Toby said. "Probably hit Kee dead centre."
"And you were lucky enough to snag another chance, unlike Twilight and Cloudy. Still hits hard, though." Clara said.
"It scares me too. I'm afraid it'll happen again, and with Kee not being here now, I'm scared that I won't get that same chance." Pastel said.
"Well, we're all in the same boat here. Kee isn't here, so the same applies for the three of us." Toby said.
"Well, we should try to beat whoever's causing this. Right? That's what we did before, and it won't hurt to do it again." Clara said.
"You're right. Thanks guys." Toby said. "Anyways, what did you discover that you wanted to tell us, Clara?"

"Excuse me, what?" Pastel said.
"The silverfish were also hypnotised! They attacked me strangely." Clara said.
"So that means the hypnosis wailing thingamabob not only hypnotises people, but also mobs. Oh damn, we are in a lot of trouble..." Toby said.
"No shit. With Hazel, Autumn and Aqua gone, and Twilight and Cloudy dead, and Ember missing, and John escaped, it's just the three of us." Pastel said.
"And Mari or Kyra probably won't be able to help us too. Who knows what they're doing." Clara said.
"Anyways, I kinda feel like...'he' is behind all of this." Toby said.
The other two looked horrified. "If I'm correct,'he' isn't acting out of the open this time, working against us secretly, pretending 'he's' our ally. I think now, 'he' is now working behind the scenes. He's in hiding." Clara said.
"That makes so much sense..." Pastel said. "But we must have something Kee and Simon don't, otherwise how would we have not been hypnotized?"
"Must have some special ability or something. Maybe the hypnosis doesn't last for a very long time? Or the hypnosis may affect mobs,but it won't work as well on people, they may at least break out of the hypnosis." Toby said.
"Well, following Toby's hypothesis, I'm guessing the hypnosis didn't really work on us. Probably because Kee and Simon's don't have something we have, that they couldn't resist the hypnosis, but it may eventually wear off for them." Clara said.
"Great, now I'm curious what we have that prevented us from getting hypnotised." Pastel said.
"We should call it a day now. It's getting late." Toby said.
"What the hell do you mean? It's only 4.40!" Clara said.
"Oh right. I guess crying for a while really screwed up my sense of time." Toby said, laughing slightly.
"I'm going to head back now, I want to try out something." Pastel said.
"Same here. I'm slightly injured from fighting all those silverfish, I need to patch myself up." Clara said.
"Alright, see you two later." Toby said, watching the two girls leave.
As soon as they were gone, Toby lay on his bed and looked at the ceiling.
"Wonder what prevented me from getting hypnotised..."
