Without thinking, Ember dived off the building,after Toby.
She watched as he landed with a splash into the depths below.
Not long after, she landed in the water too.

(a minute after Toby went up the stairs)
Pastel ran up the stairs, to find Clara and Kyra.
"Clara! I- where did Kyra come from?!" Pastel exclaimed.
"I'll explain later. Anyways, I heard some yelling from upstairs, I think Toby might be in trouble." Kyra said.
Just then, out of nowhere, the doors heading up and down suddenly closed.
"What the hell?" Clara exclaimed.
Just then, out of nowhere, Kee and Simon appeared.
"Oh, boy, here we go." Pastel said.
After dealing with them, they heard a scream, followed by something falling past the window.
Clara ran to the window to get a glimpse of it, but she only saw it land in the water. Not long after, something else went in after it.
"We should go now."

(Toby POV)
Toby landed in the water. He opened his eyes to see nothing but the shimmering light shining through the water.
Well, this is how it ends, I guess, Toby thought, as his vision blurred and he closed his eyes.
Just then, he saw a hazy figure above him. It looked familiar...
Toby didn't understand. He fell unconscious.

(Ember POV)
Ember plummeted towards the water, and landed, however feeling strange while she fell.
She looked downwards. Toby was sinking at a rapid rate.
She swam towards him as fast as possible, and scooped him in her arms.
Just then, she noticed her arms. Her hands were now black claws.
Looking behind her, Ember saw she had a pair of wings, along with two horns on her head.
She didn't really care about those things at the moment, all she knew is that she had to save Toby.
Ember flew out of the water and up back towards the top of the tower, holding Toby in the process.

Ember landed on the window and John suddenly looked towards them, shocked.
"How are you still alive?"
Ember looked up at him. Her eyes were black with purple, almost like Toby's, except not orange, and she was absolutely furious.
"NO ONE HURTS TOBY AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Ember yelled at him.
Just then, Toby woke up and saw Ember.
"Ember? Wha-"
Ember looked at him with a smile.
"Don't worry Toby, I'm here now."
Toby got out from Ember's arms. He stumbled a bit, before standing upright.
"Are you okay?" Ember asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright."
Both of them looked towards John.
"Let's finish this."
Just then, Clara, Pastel and Kyra came out of nowhere. Pastel looked from Ember to Toby.
"I have a ridiculous amount of questions I want to ask right now." Pastel said.
"Not the time for that, Pastel." Clara said.
Ember lunged at John, but missed him but inches. "What did that even do?" John taunted.
"This." Ember said, holding up something in her hand. It was the remote that controlled the hypnosis. She threw it down on the floor and stepped on it hard, breaking it cleanly into half.
Meanwhile, downstairs when Ember broke the remote, Kee and Simon were released from the hypnosis.
"Kee? Where the hell are we?"
"Do I look like I know? I heard something upstairs, something's wrong."
"Let's go then."
A battle was breaking out upstairs. Ember and Toby were attempting to shoot with arrows while the girls ran in and out, dodging attacks.
"Enough of this."
Everyone was forced back in a shockwave.
"This is pathetic. If you persist like this,you will only get nowhere." John aimed his gun at them. "Any last words?"
"You forgot about this." Kyra said, pulling something from her pocket and pointed up with it. Everyone recognised it. It was Autumn's magic staff.
Kyra had managed to figure out that John was wearing metal armour made of tungsten. It couldn't be hurt by normal attacks,but could be destroyed if a large weight was dropped on it. It would be easily crushed like an aluminium can.
While John was distracted, everyone else ran to the staircase. Kyra then sent a blast from the staff up to the ceiling, instantly breaking it.
While this was going in, Kyra swiftly moved the staff, hopped on it and flew out the open window.
The group reunited at the second floor, but there was little time for hugs as they needed to run, the tower was collapsing.
They all made it to the ground floor and they jumped out an large open window as the tower collapsed to the ground.
