Toby ran up the really long spiral staircase, probably to the top of the tower.
"How long does this thing go on for?"
He eventually reached the top of the stairs, and bent over to catch his breath while panting.
Once he was done, he looked up. He was in an enormous circle shaped room, with two large windows on each side of the room. Looking closer, Toby could see that these windows had no glass.
"Taken a while, haven't you?"
That voice...it sent chills down Toby's spine every time he thought about it.
He turned his head swiftly towards the sound, and saw him.
The man behind the slaughter.
(Fnaf reference because yes)
John.
However, Toby had experience with this kind of thing. He now knows that that isn't John, but something else possessing him.
"I knew it. It was you." Toby said, without trying to sound afraid, and failing.
"So. You've made it this far and left your friends behind in the process."
"They stayed behind on their own accord after what you did to us a second time!" Toby yelled.
"Well, you know what they say,if you fail, you try again. This is just merely a second attempt."
"Second attempt to what? Tearing us apart? Breaking us all? That won't work this time!"
"Well, why don't I introduce you to my best worker?"
Someone stepped out from the darkness. Toby recognised it immediately. It was the cloaked figure that had told them to come here.
The figure pulled off the cloak, and Toby let out an audible gasp.
Under that cloak, was Ember herself, hypnotised.
"What have you done to her?!" Toby exclaimed.
"Well, only done what I've done to your two friends."
Just then, Toby saw Ember seemingly struggling with herself, and when she looked at him again, her eyes were back to brown.
"Toby! Run-"
"Silence." John said, pointing a device towards her. Her eyes became purple with spirals again.
"What is that thing?" Toby asked.
"A device used to maintain the hypnosis, and it's also used to control them too."
"I'll fight you! I've done this before, I'll do it again!" Toby said.
"Did you really? Last thing I remember, you and your friends ran away."
Toby hesitated.
"Now, time to finish you off."
In a spilt second, Toby found himself being held by the neck, out of the window.
Toby looked down and saw the water below him. He froze. He couldn't swim.
"Goodbye."
The grip around Toby's neck lessened, and Toby felt himself fall.
At that moment, Ember broke free of the hypnosis, just in time to see Toby fall over the edge.
"TOBY!!!"
