Kerrigans POV:

Grug, Eep, and I move up the canyon. Eep furiously kicks a rock, it nearly hits Grug.

Grug: hey!

He yells at us.

Me: don't yell at me, it was her!!

I yell back things are tense between the two, and may I just say it was incredibly akward. At the keyhole, we are met by the rest of the Croods.

Ugga: Eep! Kerrigan..!

Ugga yells in corner for us.

Eep: mom!

Me: Ugga..!

Me and Eep yell in-sync.

Ugga: Grug! What happened!?

Ugga looks to our oh so wise leader, note the sarcasm.

Grug: you know what, I am so mad right now, that I can't talk to her...

Grug huffs.

Ugga: Eep? Kerrigan..?

Ugga asks us in concern.

Eep: you'll never believe it. We found something new

Eep says winking at me, giving me a blush that does unnoticed.

Everyone but me and Eep: new?!

The family yells at us the Croods all snatch up stones. They form a defensive circle around us.

Grug: new's a big problem!

He vells at us Eep and I are trapped in the middle of the defensive formation she squeezes out, pulling me with her.

Me: wait. Wait-!

I shout to the group.

Ugga: girls Stay inside the family kill circle...

Ugga says nonchalantly.

Eep: it wasn't bad..!

Eep boasts smiling at me.

Grug: new is always bad!

Grug huffs.

Me: no. He was nice..!

I added, stepping forward

Grug: what-? Excuse me? He!?

Grug says seething as he looks at me.

Me: oh-! Well, I thought he was a warthog, but then he turned into a boy..!

I sigh dreamily.

Gran: that's strange... Usually it's the reverse..!

Gran laughs Grug raises an eyebrow.

Thunk: Kerrigan's got a boy hog! Kerrigan's got a boy hog!

Thunk taunts me Eep elbows Thunk in the back of his head.

Me: there was a boy... Watch, okay..! I'm gonna call him.

I say. I pull out the shell. I blow into the shell the sound alarms the Croods they smack the shell from my hand and smash it with their rocks. Eep is incredulous. The dust clears the panting Croods are satisfied the object is gone. Eep pulls me behind her, furious with our family.

Eep: what is wrong with you...?!

Eep screeches at our family.

Grug: it was dangerous...

Grug tries to reason. Keyword: tries.

Me: it was beautiful!

Eep: you want to see dangerous!? Here!

Eep yells pushes me even farther behind her as tears start to form in my eyes making me realize just how much I had grown to like Guy in such a short time she pelts Thunk with a rock.

Thunk: oww..! My sniffer...

Thunk wines.

Grug: okay Eep, that's it. We're going back to the cave and you two going to stay in there until you're older than... her-!

Grug growls.

Eep: what!? You can't keep us inside forever!

Eep yells then throws a tantrum of epic proportion she slams a rock on the ground. It shatters to dust. creak A strange groan is heard from under the ground. Then a small amount of sand falls from up above. A crack starts to splinter under their feet.

Me: he said this would happen..!

I whisper loud enough for the others to hear then BOOM! The ground starts to shake!

Grug: get to the cave! GO-!

Grug yells in fear we race through the canyon narrows, fighting our way through falling boulders and shifting ground, heading towards the safety of our cave. We see the cave entrance. The canyon walls above our home start to crack. Grug sees that the falling rock will crush the cave.

Grug: look out! Stop-!

Grug screams at us then he leaps and tackles us, protecting us from the mass of rocks crashing down. The top of the canyon collapses and the cave is destroyed. Everything is engulfed by dust. The earth settles. The dust clears a bit - we are in a tight ball, covered by Grug. Grug stands, we were sheltered and safe under his mighty arms.

Grug: is everyone okay..?

Grug calls to us.

Ugga: yes! Grug, the cave, it's gone...

Ugga tries to reassure him and fails.

Grug looks back to Crood cave. It is gone.

Grug: no..!

He says in disbelief Grug searches the rubble for any sign that the cave might still be there. He finds one handprint, split in two. He carefully fits them back together. Emotional, he lowers his head. As Eep and I step forward, a shaft of light filtering through the dusty veil from the wreckage crosses our faces as the dust descends, we sees a new world beyond.

Eep: you really need to see this...

Eep calls out to our family in amazement the dumbfounded Croods stare in awe at the beautiful world we look out at the new world.

Me: we should go there!

I say grabbing Eep's arm

Grug: no. No one is going anywhere...

Grug pushes back Grug pulls me and Eep back from the precipice.

Grug: what else did that boy say..?

Grug huffs at us suddenly, bursting from the New World is a giant flying creature - a turtle dove. The rest of The Croods reel back as it sails overhead. We turn to watch the Turtle Dove as it flies away. We hear a familiar menacing growl. It's the bear owl! It roars and charges toward us. Grug instinctively grabs a giant boulder and rolls it in ront of our family. The Bear Owl runs and swats the massive boulder away like a ball of yarn. But we are not behind it. We are running towards the New World.
