Kerrigans POV:

The speeding ear crashes into a lone tree, sending Guy and the rest of my family sprawling across the tundra. The flying ears rocket skyward and burst like colorful fireworks.

Thunk: wow! Looks like magic. And smells like food..!

Thunk says amazed Popcorn kernels rain down upon us. We are buried.

Grug: don't eat it, it's new

Grug yells we burst out of a mountain of popcorn.

Everyone but guy: still alive!

We all yell.

Guy: come on, keep eating!!

I hear Guy tell belt.

Belt: squirf...

I hear which I assume is Belt's response Guy burrows out the side of the popcorn pile like a prisoner escaping Alcatraz I see Guy gasping for air ash he looks around to see if we've spotted him.

Eep: hey, where's Guy..?

Eep asks me as I shrug pretending not to see him, knowing that he's better off without us I see Guy run for the mountain. But Eep pounces on Guy like a tiger.

Guy: no!

Guy yells out struggling against my adoptive sister.

Eep: going somewhere?

Eep asks him cockily looking up at me as I chuckle.

Guy: the mountain-? High ground?? End of the world, remember?!

Guy says as if it were obvious.

Eep: that already happened... It destroyed our cave..!

Eep says smirking at him.

Guy: noooo! That was just the beginning of the end. The end of the end is still coming...

Guy continues to struggle.

Grug: Eep..! Drop it.

Eep sets him down as Grug demands and Guy tries to bolt but discovers Eep hasn't let go of his hand. Guy is yanked backwards like he's been tied to a piling right next to me.

Eep: we can't let him go!!

My sister insists.

Me: what if we don't find a cave before sunset?

I add on..

Eep: what if it takes a few days?!

Eep continues

Me: what if the birds come back...!?

I finish off our set of questions Gran pauses before yelling at Grug

Gran: we need his fire, dummy!

Grug grabs Guy and throws him in a log.

Grug: fine. You're staying with us till we find a cave...

My adoptive "dad" groans Grug hoists Guy in the log onto his shoulder. Grug moves out, away from the mountain. The rest of us in behind Grug. Thunk is carrying a huge piece of popcorn that he's snacking on.

Guy: what? No I'm not. Don't make me part of this. Stay here if you want, but let me go. I've got a dream, a mission, a reason to live

Guy argues.

Eep: not anymore

Eep giggles at his statement, looking over at me.

Guy: umm... I've got an idea. Let's go to that mountain
