Chapter 28: Helpful Freddy

'Come on Freddy. Hurry up!'
The same thought circled your mind as there was nothing else to do but sit and wait for an opportunity to escape.

But... what if something happened to Freddy?
Where you going to wait here forever?
Another minute goes by.
Another 6 goes by.
Still waiting. You felt your ankles stiffen, and an aching back, what if he got glitched or something?

And just like a saving grace, the alarm bells disable and a noise sounds from the the outer office. The anamatronics flooded out of the room and you are left in silence.

"Freddy, ya did it buddy. Thanks." You sighed in relief.
As you prepared to exit the make-shift fort, the jogging sounds of anamatronic footsteps approaching startled you, but not to fear, it was only Freddy coming back to the rescue.

"Well done Superstar! you've managed to stay hidden. I knew you could do it." He said cheerfully.

"Thanks Freddy." You awkwardly mumbled as you straightened up. "How'd you distract them anyways?"

"I alerted a staffbot, just as I told you in our briefing plan." He beamed. He seemed quite pleased with himself

"Great. Good thing that they're as far as possible." You chuckled in relief.

"Pardon?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion. This left you confused.

"Huh?"  you asked.

What?" You both stared at each other confused.

"Oh no. They're quite close by. The staff bot I alerted was near one of the mini golf courses outside." Freddy clarified in a cheerful tone and you couldn't help but feel really disappointed in him.

"Ya could have at least gotten them as far as possible so that we don't have to deal with them!"
"I'm sorry Superstar" Freddy rubbed his head in shame.

It was best to move on to the next subject, the anamatronics. How were you guys going to get them back in to there safe mode or 'non-glitched selves'?
"Alright, Freddy. The others. What can we do to save them before sunrise?"

"Our previous attempts to revert them into safe mode, it has required... damaging and forceful methods. With the conditions of Chica and Roxy, I cannot guarantee their program stability by using electrocution or any system overloading technique.
We have the faz cam, but it can only stun chica and surrounding bots. Roxy no longer has her eyes and Monty is protected by his glasses so it will not work on them.
We must find a way to lure them into Parts and Service to properly have their system reset so that we may repair them."

"Yeah easier said than done. I don't plan on being chased down to Parts and service. We already found Monty so we don't have to go to those catwalks above Monty golf.
We could try to sneak by them, then go to Parts and service and alert a staff bot so that they could come to us." You suggested.

"That's a nice and safe plan for everyone. But how do we get them into the service cylinder when we're there?" He asked.

"We'll deal with that when the time comes." You rubbed your head. It was no surprise that your exhaustion had creeped up on you again.

"Alright, and fortunately for us Superstar, I have a way to avert the others near by. Follow me closely. I shall guide you.

"Lead the way Freddy."
