{Hunter's POV}

I sighed as I went towards the little club exhibition or whatever at the school. Hexside, wasn't it? Kids my age go there.

"Look at these potential recruits!"

My palismen went on my shoulder. I smiled.

"Sure, I've never really spoken with any witches my age. But, I'm sure they're into things like me!! Like authority and rules!!" I smiled proudly.

I went up to a student, he was quite small, but forget that!!

"CLASSMATE!! Ignore that fact we've never met, what if I told you all your dreams can come true? All you need to do is leave your home, family and friends forever! No biggie!!" I shrugged and smiled.

The kid started sweating, he's probably nervous of this great opportunity!!

But the kid left, oh, maybe they are going to pack!!

I went to another group playing card games.

"Woohoo!!" A girl cheered as the others laughed.

"You think these are cool? Not as cool as the Emperor's Coven!!" I approached them happily.

They stopped playing their cards and looked at me.

"I hear you get to sleep in till 6 AM!" I whispered to them and smirked.

A kid spat a card at me.

Gross!!

{Your POV}

I looked at The Golden Guard trying to talk to people into getting into The Emperor's Coven. Geez, he looked hopeless.

I know I cannot show myself, but I might as well help him, how bad could it get anyway.

I made a temporary tattoo of The Emperor's Coven symbol on my wrist. I covered it with my sleeve and went on top of a fountain.

Everyone turned their attention to me, shocked to see The Silver Guard out in the day.

Hey, I'm a person too.

"As you all know, I am The Silver Guard, and I want all of you to join me and The Golden Guard into the Emperor's Coven." I said, showing my mark and pulling The Golden Guard up.

Everyone was stunned at hearing my voice. But within a few seconds, everyone was screaming and cheering. They started asking for the sign-ups, and The Golden Guard's eyes sparkled. He smiled, and I tightened my silver mask.

The Golden Guard stayed until every last person signed. After, he turned to me, confused.

"Why. . . Why did you help me?" He asked.

I signed him by pointing at him, and then me, I crossed my fingers, and he understood.

"You want to be my friend?"

I nodded.

He smiled, his eyes sparkling, "YEAH!! I-I mean, yeah, of course!"

I smiled beneath my mask.

I then saw the famous human, the one who was with the pirate. Luz, wasn't it?

Except. . . she was with other people. The news reporters son, Augustus. Another girl, and the Blights youngest daughter and kid, Amity Blight.

So, she was working with them?

Maybe.

"Oh, you haven't met Luz's family yet, have you?"

The green haired girl and Augustus shook their head, Luz looked a bit embarrassed.

"Amity!!" Luz chuckled.

"What, they're like family, right?"

Luz nodded.

My gaze went to the Blight.

"Well, there's Eda and King, of course."

"Oh you mean that cutie!!" Gus said when Amity mentioned the King or whatever.

"Yeah, but you guys haven't met her siblings!!"

The boy and girl's jaw dropped.

"YOU HAVE SIBLINGS?!" Gus and the girl said.

"Since when?!" The girl said.

"Well, they were on our porch. . ."

What...? Her porch? And, why in plural?

Wait.

No-- Y/n, don't overthink it.

"Tell!!" The girl said.

"Okay, okay!! Don't worry, Willow!!" Luz said.

"Uh, Silver, are you okay?" Golden grabbed my shoulder lightly.

I flinched a bit, and then I looked at him and nodded.

"Oh, okay." He smiled.

I looked back at the others.

"Well, my br--" Luz started talking, until I was caught by Golden.

"Hey, are you okay? Why do you keep on staring at them?" Golden looked at me, concerned.

I looked at him, oh, right, I was like a creep.

I shook my hands, signing that he had it all wrong.

He chuckled, "It's okay, I don't judge!"

I slowly lowered my hands and smiled.

"Well, I'm going to drop these recruit forms off. Uh. . ." Golden looked around nervously as he scratched his scar.

I knew what he wanted, so I gave him a small hug.

He grew a bit tense, but he warmed up into the hug.

"My name is Hunter Wittebane. . ." He quietly said.

"Y/n L/n." I let out quietly.

He smiled, I noticed the tip his ears going a bit red.

I looked at him, and he was happily smiling.

I let go of him and ran off.

I might not have heard what Luz said.

But at least I made a new friend. . .
