{Your POV}

The Emperor's ship was about to take off, they were hunting some kind of beast.

I waited for the final crew member to get on, and then, I jumped.

I grabbed a rope, which swung me to the floor of the ship. I landed quietly, and stayed hidden.

I was going to repay those people, and give them money for Marco and Maritheth. I'll leave a note to tell them to use the money wisely.

But for now, I need to steal that bag. It has 1 million, and if I can get my hands on it, I won't need to worry about Marco and Mary starving.

Soon, the crew members found the beast, in which they were hunting. This was my chance!!

I quickly grabbed the bag and jumped off the ship, using an Ice Glyph to land.

I used more glyphs, and kept on going, trying to run to shore, although, the ice was melting quickly.

The famous human girl, and some masked red pirate came after me. And so did someone else.

Is that. . ?

The Golden Guard.

My eyes narrowed as I kept shooting more Ice Glyphs faster and faster.

I landed on shore and kept running, going deep into a cave.

The monster awoke, and I instantly hid. The human and pirate inside. I didn't look any longer, I just used a Fire Glyph and left.

Until I found The Golden Guard standing a few feet awake from me, playing with his caged dog.

He glanced at me, and started chasing me.

"You are under arrest for stealing and hijacking a ship!!"

I looked back at him and used a Light Glyph to blind him. I kicked his staff away from him and ran.

The human and pirate watched me from afar as I used Thorn Vault to throw me into the sky.

The pirate tried running after me, "HEY!! THATS MY PRIZE!!"

I ignored her. I used my cloak to help me slow down, and then I used my Ice Glyphs to get back to the Boiling Isles.

I ran back to the house, and left the money there.

"Use it wisely."

I put the note down, but the wind made it fly away.

I shook my head and left, hoping my family was okay.

I looked at the window, and then I left.

{The Golden Guard's POV}

I grumbled beneath my breath.

THE SILVER GUARD IS SO COOL!!!

THEY OUTRAN ME-- WOAH!!

Yet Uncle will still be mad.

But titans, that's THE SILVER GUARD!!

AND I SAW THEM IN PERSON!!!

But, there's no way The Silver Guard is that little boy. Maybe those kids are Silver's siblings? Wait-- what if Silver's a parent?

Hunter, what are you thinking???

I had to stay focused together. I glared at the other two and sighed.

"Try to stay out of trouble." I said.

I glared at the two, "The Emperor is not a merciful man."

"Byeeeeeeee~" I got on my staff and waved at them, I flew away, not even looking back.

I went back to The Emperor's Coven, flying into my room.

I laid on my bed, looking up at the ceiling.

I need to get The Silver Guard.

No matter what.

Even if they're the coolest person, I cannot have any distractions.

I need to get rid of Silver, for the sake of Uncle.

Titan, it's going to be painful doing that.

Someone then knocked on my door, I opened it, and I was handed an envelope.

I closed my door and opened the door, I opened the note, and started reading it.

"My duties are keeping me busy. I entrust you to lead the Coven Heads today. Consider this a test."

I smirked, "Hmmmm."

I went towards the throne room, and a few of the head witches came out.

"Good. You're all here. We can get started- Hey! Ugh! Wha- Where are you- Ugh! I said wait! Come back here!"

The Coven Heads ignored me and pushed me aside. The head of the Bard Coven looked at me, but that Terra pushed them to make them walk away.

I pushed the doors open and walked into the throne room in anger. To my surprise, Darius and Eberwold were there, looking at some scrolls.

I still had questions, so I started talking.

"Darius! Eberwolf! Why is everyone leaving? We are scheduled to have a recruitment meeting!"

Darius sighed and turned around to talk to me.

"Good morning to you too, little prince." He said.

Ugh, of course with those dumb nicknames!! He's probably. . . just... jealous.

'We've decided to reschedule the meeting, so go play arts and crafts or... whatever it is you do." He looked down at me.

Darius looked at my cloak, "Oh. Looks like you've already started."

Darius used his abomination goo and grabbed my cloak. He brought it to his face and laughed.

"Hey!" How dare he disrespect me!

Darius looked at the sigil, "This is impressively bad. Wait, is this the old Golden Guard sigil?"

I glared at him angrily, gritting my teeth, "Of course it is! And this is no way to treat the emperor's-"

Darius cut me off, "Nephew?"

I glared at him furiously, he would do anything to get my respect... right?

Darius then spoke, "I knew your predecessor. He was my mentor. One of the strongest witches I've ever known. But you... hmm."

He looked at judgingly, I looked at him nervously. My eyes softened.

I then lifted my head up, "But Belos says I don't need magic to serve the coven."

Darius scoffed, "And I say you don't deserve to wear that patch."

THAT LITTLE JERK!!

Darius waked away with Eberwolf, holding my cloak in his hand. I hate to admit it, but that hit me. I turned around and called after Darius.

"Wait. . . what should I do? How do I... earn it?"

Darius exasperated in annoyance, "Ugh, sweet mother of Titans. I- I don't know. Find new recruits for the Emperor's Coven? The best and the brightest witches in all the land. Then maybe, you can get this back."

I was determined to prove myself.

"I'll do it."

Darius walked away with Eberwolf, "Of course you will. You're very good at doing exactly what you're told."

I looked at him, is he right? No. . . I'm sure he isn't.

The door then slammed shut.
