Samantha's dreams are violent. She dreams of biting into people's necks and torsos. Ripping limbs from bodies. Blood pouring out over her tongue and her relishing the taste. She dreams of being hunted down, her eagerly waiting for her hunters to reveal themselves. Fighting and killing her hunters one by one time and time again. She dreams of roaring hungrily into the night. Flying high over the beautiful and colorful night city only to swoop down and kill again. Flashes of her parents dead on the floor play and the painful screams of agony sing into her ears.

Samantha shivers awake and clutches her head. She had a severe headache, she felt sick. What were these dreams that she experienced moments before waking? They felt familiar, more like reliving memories. Yet that can't be right. She was never hunted outside the facility, she never hunted random people. Samantha grips her head tighter as another round of headaches rips through her. That's when she puts it together.

"You lied to me." Samantha mumbles. She awaits a response from Rava which never comes.

"Answer me!" She says through grit teeth.

"Yes, I did," Rava admits. Rava had manipulated her in her sleep. Drew out his powers in the dead of night and killed so many innocent people. They were hunted for a whole year and Samantha never even knew. Even as she strove to make her dream a reality, proving to the world that not all dark spirits deserved to be imprisoned, her dream had died months ago. There was no hope for her, doctor Paul was likely waiting for the right moment to come find her.

"How could you?" Samantha asks in her head again, hanging her head. All that she was striving towards was nothing but a pipe dream now.

"I-" Samantha cuts Rava off.

"Shut up. I don't want to hear your excuses. Your reasoning. I never want to hear from you again!" Samantha spits. Her anger was seething, she could feel it igniting Rava, but even if it did Samantha had a tight grip on his leash now.

"I will always still be here," Rava stated. She wished he wouldn't be.

Samantha gets off the bus and walks into her school. Though she is controlling Rava from being unleashed due to her intense anger, a dark feeling emanates from her that causes people and their spirits to be weary. She sits in class silently, yet she ponders to herself. What was the point now? Her entire reason for coming to school was to prove she belonged when she never belonged, to begin with. She would never be accepted into society now. Why was she here?

Samantha left her class and wandered to the next, people around her still cautious and weary of her. As time passed, Samantha's anger tempered itself somewhat, yet she still had no drive to be here. She considered standing up and leaving. The teacher gets a call in the middle of her lesson and pauses to go answer the phone.

"Mrs. Daniels speaking. Yes, she's here. Okay, I'll let her know." The teacher hangs up the phone and looks toward Samantha.

"They want to see you in the principles office." Samantha sighs and grabs her things then leaves her class. Unfortunately, the principal's office was across the school from here. The bell rings, and halls are flooded with students as she tries to walk towards the office.

"Well well well, look who we have here?" Veronica says.

"Looks like the rat's little friend is here today," Stacey adds. Not these two, not today of all days Samantha says. Samantha takes deep breaths, remain calm, you can't snap here.

"Not doing yourself any favors today again with that hair. Look it's all over the place." Veronica jokes.

"Her hair? Look at her clothes! Goth definitely does not suit you, sweetheart." Stacey pulls at the shoulder of Samantha's hoodie. Samantha snatches her clothes back and walks faster.
