(Cason's P.O.V.)

"Get your filthy hands off her!" I yell.

I try to run over to her but I stop abruptly when he pulls out a knife. He presses it on her throat and looks at me with a murderous expression on his face.

"Take another step I. Dare. You." He seethes.

I witness my babies face place and her eyes flutter shut.

"Don't touch her, you arse!" I scream.

"Good suggestion, but I'd rather teach her a lesson. She's been a naughty, naughty girl." He smirks.

My eyes widen at his innuendos.

"Don't you fucking dare." I spit.

I cringe at the words that came out of my mouth. Myra would not appreciate that.

"Ha. you do realize that I'm the one, in this situation, that has the knife, Right?" He rhetorically asks.

"I swear to God David, if you don't let her go I won't come home." I threaten.

"Ok, ok. Get here, boy." He smiles sadistically.

I groan. It's time to put the plan in action. I scream as loud as I can. The door creaks open and Tyler walks in, along with 3 cops. Chelsea and Jasmine walk in with frantic faces but they still looked determined.

"Oh, dear son you've tricked me, haven't you?" David asks as the cops repeat the Miranda rights and put him in hand cuffs.

I nod and rush over to Myra.

"Don't worry, I'll be out soon enough. Then you will be dead." He threatens.

"Oh shut the fuck up, you ass." Jasmine sasses.

I roll my eyes but, still tend to Myra.

"Hey, it's ok now. I've got you, Myra I've got you." I sooth to her as I hold my arms around her tiny, frail, body.

"C-Cason?" Her angelic voice stutters as she opens her eyes slightly.

"Yeah, baby?" I ask.

"Your going to explain everything as soon as I'm better." She informs me.

"I promise." I tell her. "I'm just happy your safe." I smile.

(Myra's P.O.V.)

In a two month span I've managed to be at a hospital two times for a concussion. Cason's Dad gave me one when he hit on my head with the gun. I'm also her because I'm in shock, apparently. I feel fine though so I don't know what this doctor's problem is.

"So we meet again?" Dr.Morre asks me.

I nod. I couldn't speak because my throat was so unbelievably dry and parched.

"Can I have some water?" I plead, as much as o could with my raspy voice.

"Yeah, surely." He hands me a water cup.

"Thanks." I nod.

"So do you want the good news or the good news?" He asks.

"Umm, the good news?" I say, clearly confused.

He chuckles lightheartedly. "Well you don't have to stay the night, because your concussion isn't bad, and you can also go home in a couple hours after we do some shock tests."

"Yay!" I exclaim.

"But, you will have to be careful of you are tired." I nod at his warnings.
