-the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me.

We were on a hill, and in the distance I saw a cute table set up with candles around it and a white table cloth. The table had a picnic basket on it. There was no one around, just us, and it was perfect. Cason grabs my hand and starts pulling me to the table. I step on the grass and my heel starts sinking.

Great.

I stumble a little bit but, I try to play it off. I guess my plan didn't work though because, two seconds later my feet were being lifted off the ground and into the air. I was being carried bridal style to our table. He pulls out the chair when we arrive and sets me gently in it. He sits down on the other chair and starts opening the picnic basket.

"I hope you don't mind that we are outside, I just thought you would like this better." He says, sheepishly.

"I love it! This is way better than a fancy restaurant. Thank you Cason." I gush.

"I'm glad you like it." He sounded relieved.

"Oh, umm...I hope you like pasta and bread sticks. I also brought sweet tea... If that's not ok then we can go to a pizza place if you want. I probably should have just went to a restaurant. I-" He rants.

"Cason, I do like pasta. Stop being so self deprecating, this is great. Everything is perfect." I honestly, tell him.

He blushes then looks down swiftly. It's not fast enough because I do catch his blush.

"Aww, so cute. You know, red is a good color on you." I tease.

He looks up and tries to glare but only ends up chuckling. This is going to be fun.

When we finish our dinner, which I must say was delicious, we clean up our stuff. We then walk hand and hand back to his SUV. I look at my iPhone and realize it's only 10:00. I, most defiantly, do not want to go home.

"Do you want to go home?" He asks, politely.

Can this boy read minds?

"No... Not really." I reply.

"Where do you want to go? We can go anywhere." He informs me.

"We can't go to my house, but what about yours?" I ask, but then realize the innuendos that connected to that. "We can watch a movie or something." I add quickly.

He nods, not seeming to notice my quick save. He then looks like he just remembered something.

"You know we have a that project for Mr.Gerdins class, we could do that. He gave us extra time seeing as you were in a car accident. After that we can watch a movie. If you don't want to do that we can just watch a movie. It was just a suggestion." He rambles.

"Yes, we can do that. I mean it would still be a date, just a study date." I put emphasis on the word date and start cackling at my joke.

"It would be an actual study date. The best studying you will ever have." He winks as he opens the passenger door.

I blush, once again, and mumble a thank you as I get into the car.

"You know," He says when he opens the car door for himself.
"Red is a good color on you."
He relays my words from earlier tonight.

"Ha. Ha. Very original, where did you get that saying from?" I state with sarcasm dripping in my voice.

"Just from a beautiful girl," He stops to reach for my hand, interlace them, and set them on the center console. "Named Myra Winters."
