♡ Morning

I woke up in the most uncomfortable position. My back was aching and my hair was a mess.

It looked like I got drunk at a party and passed out without a care in the world. What really happened is I stayed up too late and I passed out and had the best night of sleep I ever had.

Why is it that I only get a good night's sleep when I'm already half asleep.

I sigh, getting out of bed to go find Muriel, who didn't come home last night due to him going on some mission for the countess.

He wanted me to go but I said it would be best if I stayed here and took care of things while he was away.

I hope he's doing alright.

I came back to reality when I smelt bacon from the kitchen. Was he back already?

I rushed to the kitchen to find Muriel making us breakfast. He took one look at my state and started to laugh.

"Stop laughing." I rubbed my eyes while smiling.

"Sorry darling, didn't think I would see you this early." He said, turning his attention back to the food.

I yawn as I take a seat at the table, "How was the trip?"

"I was bored and lonely without you. You should have come." He said, seeming sad.

I wish I did, "Who would have taken care of the hut while we were gone? Someone has to stay here and protect this place."

"I could have asked Asra or someone, that trip would have been bearable with you around."

"I'm sorry love, I should have come. What time did you get here?"

"I got here around four, I layed down beside you but you were spread out like a starfish." He said laughing to himself.

"I was really tired, sorry." I say smiling but feeling bad.

He finished up the food, we kept talking about his trip and our plans now that he is back, while eating.

"We should go to the market soon, they just got a new shop!" I say smiling, finishing up cleaning my plate.

"We should, but for now I want to catch up on the time I lost with you." He said smiling, hugging me then lifting me up.

"HEY! PUT ME DOWN!" I shout as I try to get out of his grip.

"Not going to happen." He said, making his way to the bedroom.

He laid me down and he soon followed.

"If you wanted to cuddle and spend time with me you could have just asked instead of kidnapping me." I say turning away from him.

He turned me back around and hugged me so tight I couldn't move.

"What's the fun in that then?" He asked.

We spent most of the day catching up on lost time together, and I don't regret anything.
