The past week had been one of the best I had ever experienced. Matt and I were now officially a couple, and every day seemed filled with new adventures and touching moments. As I looked at the calendar and realized that we had been together for a whole week, I couldn't help but smile at all the wonderful memories we had created.
**Flashback 1: A Sunny Afternoon in the Park**
It all started with that sunny afternoon in the park. We had decided to have a picnic and spend the entire afternoon outside. Matt brought a blanket, and we set up under a large oak tree, with a basket full of goodies between us.
The sun was shining on our faces as we laughed and talked about everything and anything. It was as if the rest of the world had disappeared, and we were living in our own little bubble.
We spent the entire afternoon there, and as time flew by, we looked at each other at the end of the picnic and, without words, knew exactly what would happen next.
**Flashback 2: The Evening at Matt's Place**
On another evening, we were simply at Matt's home. His living room was softly lit with cozy lamps, and the TV was on mute with a movie playing in the background. We sat close to each other on the couch, wrapped in a blanket.
We had nestled into each other, enveloped in a comfortable silence. As the movie played, I felt his hand brushing over my shoulder and his breath against my neck. It was such a simple moment, but it felt so intimate. Matt turned towards me, his eyes sparkling in the soft light.
"I'm really happy we're together," he said, holding my hand.
"I am too," I whispered back, leaning my head against his shoulder. That evening, we kissed often, each time deepening the passion between us with every touch.
**Flashback 3: A Sunset Walk**
On another night, we took a walk at sunset. The sky was painted in the most enchanting shades of orange and pink as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon. We walked along the lake, hand in hand, enjoying the peace and beauty around us.
"This walk is perfect," I said, looking at the horizon. "It looks like a painting."
Matt laughed and squeezed my hand. "Yeah, it's beautiful. But nothing is more beautiful than this moment with you."
We stopped briefly to watch the sunset and admire the sky. Then, Matt leaned forward and gave me a kiss that filled the silence of the moment. It was a loving, tender kiss that warmed us both.
**Back to the Present**
The memories of this week gave me a warm feeling, and I was grateful for every experience we had shared. As I sat on the couch with Matt by my side, I couldn't help but smile. Our relationship still felt so new and exciting, and every day with him was an adventure in itself.

Chris POV:
The evening was one of those rare moments when the whole family, including friends, came together to relax and simply have a good time. The house was cozy and lit with soft lamps that cast a warm glow over the living room. It was exactly what we needed after a busy week full of activities.
Olivia had come over to spend the evening with us, and I had a feeling it was going to be a special night. Matt and Olivia still seemed to be living in their own world, enjoying every moment of their newly begun relationship. It was evident in the way they sat together, their bodies constantly pressed against each other, hands entwined, with soft smiles and whispering conversations.
Nick and I were sitting on the couch opposite them, occasionally watching their adorable interactions. We felt like we were part of some romantic film, with Matt and Olivia as the stars of the show. Their hands always found each other, and every time they looked at each other, it seemed as if the rest of the world momentarily stood still.
Nick leaned towards me and whispered with a grin, "Look at those two, they're really in their honeymoon phase, huh? It almost feels like we're following a cheesy romantic movie."
I couldn't help but laugh and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, really. They're so lovey-dovey, it's almost comical. But on the other hand, it's lovely to see how happy they are."
Nick laughed and gave me a playful nudge. "What do you think, should we tease them a bit? They deserve it after all that mushiness."
We decided to make a few playful remarks to break their sweet moment, but in a friendly way. Nick got up and walked over to Matt and Olivia, who were lounging on the couch with their heads leaning against each other. They looked up as he joined them, a smile on his face.
"So, so, so, look at you two," Nick began with exaggerated drama. "It's like we're following a honeymoon. Any plans to escape to some tropical paradise, or should we just wait a bit longer?"
Olivia blushed slightly but laughed and looked at Nick. "Oh, come on, we're just having a good time together."
I couldn't resist adding a comment. "Yeah, and I think we should take a few honeymoon photos to document it. That way, we can put it all on social media."
Matt chuckled and looked at Nick and me. "You're just jealous because you don't have any sweet moments, right? We're just happy together."
"Well, you're right," Nick said, putting his hands on his hips. "We can't all have the happiness you're having. But honestly, we're just happy for you."
The atmosphere in the room was light and cheerful, filled with laughter and fun. Despite the teasing, Matt and Olivia were clearly happy and at ease. It was evident that they were in their own little world, and it was beautiful to see.
As the evening progressed, we moved to the dining room to play a game and grab some snacks. Matt and Olivia remained very close, their glances and touches not entirely hidden from the rest of us. But it was also refreshing to see how their relationship was evolving, how they laughed together and found joy in their shared moments.
When the evening came to a close, we sat together on the couch, relaxed and content. Matt and Olivia were nestled close to each other, while Chris and Nick continued their playful remarks and teasing.
"You really need to take it easy," Nick said with a wink. "We don't want the whole house to be in honeymoon mode."
Matt laughed and embraced Olivia, who snuggled even closer to him. "We'll do our best to keep it calm, but thanks for the great company."
Chris, Nick, and I smiled at each other, grateful for the moments we could share together. It was clear that Matt and Olivia were happy, and that made us happy too. We knew that, although they were in their honeymoon phase, the joy and love they shared laid a strong foundation for their future together.
