♡ Dave and Bambi: Dreamscapes ♡

Bambi's Labyrinth

You go off to look for Expunged with no idea what that person even looks like. After hours of mindless floating, you find yourself levitating before a wooden fence in front of a large maze of corn. There's something special about this corn though...something that captivates you, something that keeps you from floating away. As a matter of fact, you're coming closer and closer, straight through the fence, about to take a bite of that sweet, sweet corn...
Then you're hit in the back of the head, and your vision goes black.
After presumably being unconscious for hours, your surroundings slowly become visible. You awake inside a barn. Inside the barn, a small farmer blankly watches a projected video. The video displays a pretty friendly man in a wheelchair, sitting in a void similar to the one you materialized within.
"Hello Bambi! I know you must be very confused after we passed out so suddenly. But I believe I have figured out what's going on." The man paused, letting out a large sigh. "The 3D world is out of whack. The Conbis seem to have forced us all into a deep sleep while they deal with this. Each of us have our own sections within this dream world, though somehow all our minds are connected." The man pauses again, now looking uncertain. "I'm not sure how long we'll be stuck here, Bambi. I don't know if we'll ever wake up. I'm not sure if Conbi will allow me to send more messages. But I do know this: I will find you, eventually. We won't be separated forever. I love you Bambi...though I have to stop this message before Conbi complains."
The projection disappeared. Bambi turns to you.
"Ugh...trying to steal corn in mah dreams? Meanie." He throws his phone at you again, and a shard from your hat hits the ground. He picks you up and pulls you close to him. "Wanna walk with me?"
You nod blankly. Bambi continues to hold you as he walks through his maze.
"It's weird...I should be mad at you. I guess it's hard to be mad at someone that isn't real," Bambi taps you a bit. "You feel real though."
You can't be real though, for you formed within a dream. Dreamknit Conbi. Your name says it all.
As the two of you continue to walk, the farm becomes more and more distant, and your companion's face becomes more and more blank. Before you know it, day turns to night, and it seems as though the maze is never ending. There is an end though; A cliff leading into a dark void.
"Bye, bye Meanie! Tell me if ya find Dave, alright?"
Before you could even process what was happening, you're pushed into the void.
The void is hot, almost hot enough to melt your hat. Your face and hands begin to sweat as the rest of your body emits steam. Through the steam, a silhouette is visible, one similar to Bambi. It appears as if it's surrounded by a bright fire; Better yet, it may be MADE of fire. It comes closer and closer, it's heat becoming even more apparent. It punches you down, hovering above you.
"Who are you? Where's Dave?!" It shouts. You can't answer. Something's stopping you, something that can't be seen but can be felt. Not that you can offer a satisfactory answer regardless.
The being punches you down before turning to steam. It's gone, along with whatever was preventing you from speaking. A similar fiery entity appears behind you, and this one's yellow and blue.
"Okay, okay, I'll quit my whining. Who are you? Can you help me out of this nightmare?" He looks at you with eager eyes; You're giving him hope.
You tell him the name Conbi had given you, and that you knew no way out of the Dreamscapes. The fiery entity seems a bit disappointed by this, and begins to turn red.
"Promise you'll help me find a way out. Or at least find one of my friends."
Before you could give him a response, something wraps around your torso, pulling you down, and out of the void.
