The Throne Left Unresolved

As you're thinking over the offer, you hear an argument in the distance.
"I d-d-ʇ'upıp 𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕘𝕖𝕥 about you ꯱ׁׅ֒tׁׅꫀׁׅܻɑׁׅ֮ᥣׁׅ֪ꪱׁׅꪀׁׅᧁׁ 𝖒𝖞 𝖙𝖍𝖗𝖔𝖓𝖊!"
"You're still mad about that? Bro, that was ages ago."
It happened t-t-ᴛᴡᴏ 𝐃𝓪ⓨｓ คᵍό."
You approach the two voices. Bandu and Expunged stand in an isolated corner, with Expunged sitting on his throne. The throne that Bandu sat on before...
"I d-d-d̶̮̲̭̰̽̾̊̈́̇ŏ̴̫̬̝͖̤ͅn̵͖͚̟͝'̴̣̽̄͌͊͝ͅţ̶͎̫̜̙̳̩̻̠̎̃̀̓͐͊̾̀ͅ ǝɹɐɔ if it's j-j-𝒿𝓾ˢ𝓣 Ａ 𝔡𝓻ｅ𝒶м. You st-st-ꜱᴛᴏʟᴇ ᴍʏ ᴛʜʀᴏɴᴇ. That won't be easily forgiven." Expunged explains to Bandu.
"Ex, this is stupid. Like, really stupid. I've tried my hardest to defend you. Dreamknit has tried their hardest to defend you. And you repay us with this petty bullshit?" Bandu floats upwards, meeting at Expunged's eye-level.
"Expunged, I love you. You are my brother after all...but it feels like all you care about is this stupid throne. I can't keep risking things for you."

"It's n-n-𝕟𝕠𝕥 qoɾ ʎɯ t0 𝓬𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝔂𝓸𝓾. M-m-𝕞𝕪 𝕛𝕠𝕓 oʇ sı keep 🄲🄷🄴🄰🅃🄴🅁🅂 out of th-the 3ᴅ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ."
"Good to know how you really feel." Bandu says before hovering away. You follow behind him.
He finds another isolated area and crashes onto the ground, shifting into the furry creature you had seen from the flashbacks.
"I miss him...the old Expunged. I missed when he treated me like family. I miss him..." Tears fall from his eye. "I miss when he would make me lil creatures to keep me company. I miss him-"
"Wait..."
Bandu sits up. "He never...kept me company. He never..."
Bandu sweeps you into a hug. "Why is he like this?" He cries. You awkwardly hug him back before wandering off to meet Expunged.
"Sc-Sc-Screw ɟɟo 𝕜𝕚𝕕," Expunged yells at you from above. "ꪗꪮꪊ'᥅ꫀ ꪖꪶ᭙ꪖꪗᦓ 𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 in the w̷̻̥͓̽̏̓͒̈́̀̊͠a̷̭͒͠y̴̱̯̙͎͚̓̕ͅ of things."
Yeah...maybe for once it's best that you don't intervene.

A few minutes later, Endowment carries you away from the scene.
"Well little fellow, if you'd like to live in the 2D world, you might as well say goodbye to your 3D friends!"
Turns out he was being literal. He throws you down, placing you in front of a crowd containing all the beings you had befriended before. Within the crowd stands Bambom and Ringi, sharing some cake, BF and GF glitching out while being idiots together, and Bamibo handing some ice cream to Holy and Andrew. They all immediately notice you, a purple glow stick in this dark void.
"...you might as well say goodbye to your 3D friends."
"Goodbye." You mumble.
"Bye bye!" Bambom shouts.
"𝓢𝓮𝓮 𝔂𝓪 𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓴𝓷𝓲𝓽!" Holy says with a wave.
"If I get the chance I'll try extending my ice-cream business to the 2D world." Bamibo says with a wink.
"Okie dokie everyone! I think that's enough with the goodbyes. It's time to wake up!" Endowment says.
And with a clap of his hands, a bright light engulfs the void.
And eventually
the void is gone.
