You wander through the cave, which appears to be empty, until you stumble upon a bright white Conbi wearing black eyeliner. His eye is wide and blank, leaving you at ease.
"Oh! Another Conbi has fallen. How...interesting," He picks you up, holding you like a little doll. "I've been waiting for someone else to fall. You're such a pretty little thing!"
As he holds you, he seems to glow like the moon. His eye even seems to show a bit of joy. It's nice to bring someone joy, but you gotta get outta there. You have another Conbi to meet.
Unfortunately the fallen Conbi doesn't allow you to leave his grasp, so you're forced to travel through the cave with him.
"Y'know, I'm kinda happy I was exiled. It feels a lot nicer being alone," Fallen says as he carries you down the crystal cave. "So, why did you fall? What did you do to make them hate you so much?"
You say nothing.
"I understand if you don't wanna talk about it. Being considered a disgrace to the gods...it feels horrible doesn't it?"
You say nothing.
"I've been trapped in an empty abyss for so long. I have no friends, no family, no one. All because the original Conbi didn't like me. I don't even remember my own name...I'm just a fallen Conbi."
Fallen begins to cry. His mascara drips down his face and onto the crystally rocks below. He uses one of your hands to wipe the tears away.
"I don't even know how I got here, man. One minute I'm alone in my little void and the next I'm down here! Feels like they're just messing with me now!" His glow starts to flicker and waver. Fallen throws you to the ground and towers over you.
"You're one of them, aren't you? You're here to torment me further, aren't you?"
You shake your head furiously. You can feel a gem shard stabbing into your back, yet you can't float away from it, for you're paralyzed with fear. Fallen pushes you down into the shard, cracking your glass-like exterior. You scream and cry but he doesn't let go.
"You're here to torment me further, aren't you?" He repeats, more tears streaming down his face. Then suddenly, a white flash covers your vision. The hand pushing you into the shard disappears. Fallen slowly loses resolution until he's nothing but a blob of pixels.
"𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝓸𝓯𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓴𝓷𝓲𝓽 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓫𝓲." The words echo through the cave as Fallen's demise unfolds. He can't cry, for his voice has become nothing but static. Holy flies you out of the cave and places you back into the corn maze.
"𝓢𝓸𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓭𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽! 𝓜𝔂 𝓰𝓾𝓪𝓻𝓭𝓲𝓪𝓷 𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓽𝓼 𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓪 𝓴𝓲𝓬𝓴𝓮𝓭 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮," Holy says, landing on the ground next to you. "𝓢𝓹𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓯 𝔀𝓱𝓲𝓬𝓱, 𝔀𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓪 𝓰𝓾𝓪𝓻𝓭𝓲𝓪𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓵? 𝓘 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓴 𝓲𝓽 𝓬𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝓫𝓮 𝓪 𝓷𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓬𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓶𝓮."
You nod. Now that you have a guardian, it's a great time to start looking for the original Conbi.

The best course of action is to ask Endowment where the original Conbi is. After expressing this to Holy, the two of you fly back up to the neighborhood in the sky. The streets are beautiful as always, yet strangely vacant. Despite this, it feels as though the two of you are being watched.
"𝓣𝓱𝓮𝔂'𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓸𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓸𝓪𝓽? 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓶𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓫𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭!" Holy comments as the two of you float along the road. You nod in agreement. Somehow his explanation doesn't feel true though. There's no way this town was abandoned purely due to corn. Not to mention it feels like the two of you are being watched.𓂀
The street somehow feels longer than it was before. You float for minutes, then hours. The sun begins to rise. Something's off. The journey was nowhere near this long. And it still feels like you're being watched.
"𝓢𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰'𝓼 𝔀𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰." Holy says, his voice shaky. He looks ahead. The line of houses seems to never end.
"𝓞𝓱 𝓶𝔂 𝓖𝓸𝓭𝓼 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰'𝓼 𝔀𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰..." Holy falls to the surface of the cloud. He looks ahead again. "𝓦𝓮 𝓶𝓾𝓼𝓽'𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓪𝓴𝓮𝓷 𝓪 𝔀𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓷 𝓸𝓻 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰. 𝓞𝓱 𝓶𝔂 𝓖𝓸𝓭𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝓪𝓭."
That's not very reassuring. :/
"𝓤𝓰𝓱...𝓶𝓪𝔂𝓫𝓮 𝓔𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔀𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽'𝓵𝓵 𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓸𝔀 𝓶𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓸𝓷 𝓱𝓲𝓶 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮. 𝓨𝓮𝓼, 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽'𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓘'𝓵𝓵 𝓭𝓸, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓰𝓸 𝓼𝓶𝓸𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓵𝔂, 𝔂𝓮𝓼." Holy gets into his praying position and closes his eyes.
"𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓫𝓲 𝓸𝓯 𝓔𝓷𝓭𝓸𝔀𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽. 𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓾𝓼 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀𝓵𝓮𝓭𝓰𝓮. 𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓶𝓪𝔂 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓫𝓮 𝓪𝓷 𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓵 𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓫𝓾𝓽...𝓲𝓽'𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝔀𝓮 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮."
A crack in the cloud appears, and Endowment peaks his head through. "No need to be so formal, Holy. You can just ask me for help, y'know."
"𝒪𝒽! 𝒲𝑜𝓃𝒹𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓊𝓁. 𝒟𝑜 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉𝓈 𝑜𝒻 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒪𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓁 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝒷𝒾?" Holy asks.
"He's not here." Endowment replies.
Holy crosses his arms. "𝓦𝓮 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽! 𝓦𝓮 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓪 𝓼𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓯𝓲𝓬 𝓪𝓷𝓼𝔀𝓮𝓻."
"I meant to say that he's not in the Dreamscapes, like, at all. He's not here. He is awake, deciding on who to delete. Said something about storage issues..."
"𝓞𝓱 𝓷𝓸. 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓽'𝓼 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵 𝓫𝓪𝓭...𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝔀𝓪𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓸 𝔀𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓾𝓼 𝓾𝓹?" Holy asks.
"I can wake you up. Your little friend can't be woken up though. They only exist within the Dreamscapes."
That's not very reassuring.
"𝓒𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓻𝔂 𝓹𝓾𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓫𝓲 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓵𝓮𝓮𝓹? 𝓘 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓪𝓵𝓴 𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓲𝓶 𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓾𝓽 𝓑𝓪𝓶𝓫𝓲'𝓼 𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼. 𝓘 𝓷𝓮𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓶𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓼𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓸𝓮𝓼𝓷'𝓽 𝓭𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓽𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓶!"
"I guess I could try that. Though I'll have to wake up as well so...farewell!" And with that, Endowment disappears.
And the world goes black.
