You roam through the void, searching for Conbi, which really only takes a couple minutes because he's the size of three apartments. Conbi has multiple windows of files and codes surrounding him, and behind him stands the monstrosities that Expunged created. One of them being Dale...
Memories come flooding in. The interior is...different now. Dark and empty...not a single customer remains. It reeks of a smell you can't quite recognise, yet it feels familiar somehow. It's strangely metallic, the same smell you can expect from a penny, but stronger. There's indistinct lumps of matter on the ground. You slowly float towards one of the lumps. The smell gets stronger as you approach. Your hands and knees get covered in a thick liquid...turns out the lumps are dead bodies. Dale had turned the restaurant into a bloodbath...
And when you come back to reality, you're being held in Conbi's palm.
You explain to Conbi what you want: A physical body. You explain that your purpose may seem menial but you're more than your purpose. You've explored a world, met new people, and feel...alive. And if Conbi would just listen, you'll get the chance to truly be alive!
Suddenly, Conbi's eye closes and he begins to fall.
Uh oh...
CRASH!
Conbi hits the ground, dropping you in the process. A crack appears on your side, and trying to pull yourself up becomes painful. A purple hand picks you up. It's Endowment, illuminating the area.
"Don't worry hun! Conbi's okay. Holy and I just decided to give him a little time out," Endowment explains. "We figured he was being a little extreme." He giggles nervously, attempting to lighten the mood.
"Y'know, we've taken your request into consideration and...while the 3D world is experiencing storage issues, the 2D world isn't. We could give you a 2D rig for a body!"
The offer...it's exactly what you wanted except...you've never been to the 2D world. Then again, you've never been to any REAL world.
2D world...captivating, isn't it?
