"Start talking. Now..."
Class 1-A all glanced at each other. "You're... guess is as good as ours Sensei," Midoriya said quietly.
Aizawa sat down and began speaking more gently. "Have you all noticed something going on with Todoroki?"
"Yes..." Tsu said quietly.
"Should we... should we really be talking about Todoroki behind his back?" Uraraka asked.
"We want to help him." Ida looked down at his hands. "I know gossip is usually frowned upon, but I think in this case we should make an exception."
"Ida's right." Yaoyorozu nodded. "The only way we can help Todoroki is if we talk about it."
"When did you all first notice something was off?" Mr. Aizawa asked.
They all thought about it for a moment, "I'd say, right around the end of the Sports Festival..." Midoriya guessed.
"Yeah, that sounds about right." They all nodded.
Aizawa put his hand to his chin, "So a few weeks ago..." he was about to ask them another question when there was a knock at the door.
"Sorry to intrude..."
"All Might!" Izuku said in excitement.
"Hello everyone." He greeted. "I was wondering if I could borrow your teacher for a moment. There is something important I wished to talk about."
"We're actually in the middle of a pretty important discussion ourselves." He informed. "Can it wait?"
He looked at the students and saw that they all appeared to be troubled. "You wouldn't happen to be talking about young Todoroki, would you?"
"How did you know that?!" Hagakure said in astonishment.
"I just ran into Todoroki on his way to the dorms." He answered. "He seemed... troubled..."
"Have a seat." Aizawa gestured to the seat next to his desk. "To fill you in, Midoriya said that he believes Todoroki began acting strangely after the Sports Festival. What have you all noticed?"
"He just seems... happier?" Kaminari continued, "Like... I know that isn't necessarily a bad thing... it just seems so out of character for him."
"But then sometimes, he's back to being all quiet and stoic," Kirishima added.
Ojiro nodded, "He's also a lot more emotional. There have been several times over the last couple weeks that he started crying, over little things. I've never seen Todoroki get so upset before."
"He's also been talking to himself a lot." Ida looked down sadly, "He just... he seems to really be struggling with something..."
Aizawa nodded and turned to All Might, "Does that sound like what you noticed?"
"Yes. Especially the bit about talking to himself. It was almost..." he drifted off for a moment, "like he was talking to another person..."
"Do any of you have any idea what could have set this off?" Aizawa asked.
They all stayed silent for a moment, trying to think of something.
Bakugo turned around to glance at Midoriya. "Yo nerd! Are you going to tell him, or am I going to have to?!"
"Wh-what?" he looked over at him in panic.
