Katie thought back to the first letter she found that was from her father. She heard her mom causing her to sigh. She had just found out she was pregnant, her mother wants her to get rid of the baby as the child has no father, and her father was dead, but the letter that she held in her hand said it all. He maybe alive.

Katie,
My sweet little girl, if you find this, know that I didn't want to live you behind. I had to get away from your mother, but if she saw that you were gone too, she would have called the police. I will find you one day, Katie and I hope that you aren't mad.

Edward looked at the letter that caused Katie to faint. He heard a cry and looked at the door to see Carlisle with the baby. "It's a girl."

Smiling, Katie's aunt and uncle let Edward hold his daughter. "Did you two pick a name?"

Shaking his head, Edward had no clue what to name her. "I won't name her till Katie is awake." He says looking at Carlisle. "How is she?"

"She's going to be fine. Weak, but fine." Carlisle says. "I need to take her to the NICU and I will let you all see Katie."

Edward nodded as that was good. He didn't have to turn Katie just yet, but he knew that before she ages, he will turn her. Just that they need to talk about the right time. He watched Katie's aunt and uncle hug causing him to go speak to Carlisle. "You didn't tell the full truth out their."

"Son, Katie doesn't have long." He tells him. "She has a few hours or less."

"I know she wants to turn, but we never discussed it and...I can't lose her."

"She will be waking up soon. There, you can take her home and turn her there." He tells him. "Why don't you go see her?"

"I'll let them. I want to be with my daughter. Hopefully I can think of a name and see what she thinks."

Carlisle nodded as he watched Edward walk away. He knew that Katie has made up her mind. She wants to turn, but she has to tell Edward herself. He will respect that. Edward wants to hear her say it not him. "I hope he accepts this or he will lose her."

Edward heard and smiled. "I accept as long as she tells me." He mumbled looking at his daughter. "You look just like your mother."
