Eighteen

After Jessica's parents agreed to let her go with Katie and her daughter to find Tommy, they were off. Edward looked at Katie who was looking out the window causing him to sigh. "How do you feel about all this?" He asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Katie..."

"Angry." She confessed. "Hurt, confused, everything." She looked at him. "I thought he was dead. Six feet under ground just to discover that he has been living in Alaska all this damn time. I got pregnant, mom wanted me to abort the baby, but I refused. I moved and met you, fell in love with you, and now we have her." She looked behind them. "Just for her to be born a bit early because of one simple letter. A letter that he could have sent long time ago when I need him the most."

Edward took her hand causing her to look back at him. "Katie, I may not know what you feel, but know that I'm angry with him. He left an amazing person behind and he also caused her to go in labor." He says. "I won't let him see Katherine till he sees that we are angry with him."

"I don't really want to see him. Jessica just wants to ball him out." She tells him. "If he can't come see me, than I don't want to see him."

Nodding, Edward knew that Katie meant every word. Tommy Stanley won't be seeing Katie or Katherine and Edward was going to make sure he doesn't.

Jessica looked at Edward and Katie with Katherine. "Did she tell you?" Rosalie asked.

"Tell me what."

"She doesn't want to see Tommy because of how he never told her he was alive or come see her since he is alive." Emmett says. "The poor girl has so many questions and yet, she doesn't want to see the man because of what he has done."

Jessica shook her head not seeing someone watching her. "That's why I'm talking to the bastard. He hurt Katie. No one in the family has ever thought to hurt her as she is a gem to us. Katie has the heart of gold and not once did he think about it."

Jasper felt lust and looked around them. Alice looked at him as she wondered what has him looking. Jessica walked away causing Alice to see. "Oh no."

"What?" Katie asked as her and Edward walked over to them with the stroller.

"It's Jessica. She gets saved, but turned tonight."

"By who?"

"Her mate."

Katie couldn't believe her ears, her cousin, her best friend was going to be turned tonight. Edward pulled her into his arms as Emmett and Jasper ran to look for her. Rosalie grabbed Katie's hand. "We will find her before it's too late."

The sun had set and Katie was waiting on them to bring her cousin home safe. Edward walked in and hugged her from behind. "They will find her, baby."

"I know." She tells him. "Something tells me they found her with her mate."

Edward nodded when they walked in with a man carrying Jessica who held a bite mark. "He saved her from getting raped, but the man stabbed her."

"I'm sorry for turning her, but I just got my mate and would like to know her."

"What is your name?"

"Justin."
