"Your mother hired people to kill me and when she thought I had died while in Alaska, Tanya was the one to save me. She's been watching me." He tells her. "I made the mistake not coming back for you, but I was afraid that I would scare you or worse...kill you." Tommy sighed as he looked at his daughter and her mate. "I know you hate me..."

"Hate you? I don't hate you, daddy. I'm mad at you for never coming to tell me the truth. Jessica, now, she may be pissed because I went into labor early because of your letter."

"I'm truly sorry about that." He tells her. "I never knew..."

"I was taken advantage of before moving to Forks. Mom kicked me out when she found out. That's how I met Edward and his decision to be the father of Katherine."

Tommy nodded. "Do you need time?"

"I want you in my life, but I'm won't forgive you till I know it's time." She tells him as she heard her daughter. "Duty calls."

Jessica caught Katie and hugged her till she saw someone she wants to kill. "Uncle Tommy?"

Edward walked in and smiled as Katherine was laid down. "She's growing like a weed." He tells her.

"I got to thinking about what Rosalie has hated this life for. Even though I had Katherine, I don't want no more because she is enough. This life has made me stronger and I don't want to change it. Even if I didn't have Katherine. I would have been okay one way or another."

"You wouldn't have resented me?"

"No." She tells him. "Meeting you, has been the best thing to ever happen to me like Katherine. I love you, Edward and I want us to get married."

Edward smiled as he kissed her. He was happy she didn't resent him and no matter what, she would have loved this life with or without a child, but they had Katherine and she was all they needed. They pulled back and looked at the crib that held Katherine. This was the life he wanted and this was the life he will love the most.
