*JAYDEN'S POV*
"Where the Fuck am I?"

I groggily questioned as I woke up from my sleep, not knowing where in the hell I was. If I can remember correctly, I was last with Selena in the studio, we got into a disagreement, and from there I have no clue what happened.

I looked to the side of me, and there was Mason, happy as ever to see me.

"Jay, you're awake and okay! Oh my god, I was so worried about you!"

"Why were you worried? And where am I?"

"You, my dear, are laid up in the hospital. Long story short, you and Selena got into an argument and she claims you ran out into the street and got hit by a car."

Oh yeah...

That.

"Yeah... it's slowly starting to come back to me.. what did the doctors say?"

"They said you're going to be okay. You just need to be in a wheelchair for just a little bit. I asked about your walking, and they said eventually you're going to have to take therapy to learn how to walk properly again. That'll all come in time, though. The most important thing is; you're alive."

Fuck. Not me being like Jimmy Brooks in Degrassi. I better be able to walk again, or that's on Selena's ass!

"That's the last thing I wanted to hear.. what about the movie? What am I gonna do now?"

"Matt agreed that we just film the parts without you for now. And the rest is going to be on hold. Whatever is left of your scenes, we'll film later on when you're able to film again."

"How long do I even have to stay in here for?"

"About a week and a half. It'll fly by fast, though."

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. I looked over to see Jenna standing in the doorway with a nurse.

"Miss Gooding, you have another visitor. Is that okay?"

"Of course. You can let her in."

I weakly smiled. Mason smirked and gently patted me on my shoulder.

"I'll leave you two alone for a few minutes. I'm gonna go get something to eat. We've been here since this morning."

I looked over at the clock in the room and it read 8:45pm. Damn. They really stayed here all this time waiting for me to wake up?

Jenna shyly walked into the room, sitting down in the seat that Mason was just sitting in.

"Hey, Wednesday.. this is awkward as hell. You seeing me in the hospital, half dead like this. They said I'm gonna have to be in a wheelchair for a while. So I'm practically Jimmy Brooks now."

I cracked the joke, causing Jenna to actually laugh at it. I knew the Degrassi joke would make her laugh.

"It's not awkward, I was just extremely worried about you.. what even happened? If you can remember."

"Mason said that I guess I met up with Selena, we had a disagreement, I was upset and ran into the street. I guess."

"Yeah. I actually kinda ran into Selena a few hours ago. She told me she was trying to give you.. proper closure, as she explains it."

Jenna then looked down at her feet, her mood changing from happy to visibly sad. What just happened?

"What's wrong, Wednesday? What's got you so upset so suddenly?"

"It's just.. I care about you. A LOT, Jayden. What if I'm the one to get my heartbroken next? What if you never get over Selena? You seem to really love her. What if I never amount to her?"

"First off, you're not supposed to amount to her. Or to anyone, of that matter. You're Jenna, she's Selena. Two completely different people. And as of me getting over Selena, that time will come. You just have to give me some time. This breakup is still freshly new for me."

"Did the kiss mean.. anything to you?"

"It meant everything to me, Jenna. If it didn't, then I wouldn't have kissed you back like I did. I think whatever we have going on between us has strong potential. You just have to give me some time. Okay?"

"Okay.. time is what it'll be then. I'm gonna get going. I'm so sleepy, I've been here all day."

Jenna stood up from the chair. I gripped her hand as quickly as I could, looking up into her eyes.

"Wait. You can't leave yet without doing me a huge favor."

"What's that?"

"Kiss me again before you go."

"But you just said —"

"That doesn't mean that we can't kiss during my free time."

I chuckled, causing Jenna to blush. She shrugged, leaning down to kiss me deeply. We both smiled during our kiss, pulling away a few seconds after.

"Get some rest. I'll come by and visit you tomorrow. Call me if you need anything, Jay."

"Will do, Wednesday. Will do. See you tomorrow."
