*JENNA'S POV*
The next few weeks we're going quite well. Jayden and I continued to become closer to each other. We're still getting to know each other just a tad bit more before we make ourselves an official couple.

Jayden's actually not in New York at the moment. She went back home to Los Angeles to spend time with her family and focus a little more on her new music.

I miss her dearly. I haven't seen her in the last week, and I was so used to seeing her every single day. Every time that I see her over the phone, the more that I fall in love with her.

I never met someone that was so perfect before. It's like she could never do no wrong.

I just can't wait to see where this takes us.

"Well, well, well.. long time, no see, Ortega."

I heard a familiar voice say to me as I was having coffee in the nearest coffee shop. I turned around to see no other than my annoying ex boyfriend; Dominic.

"Really? What do you want now, Dominic? You didn't learn your lesson the last time?"

"I was never done, I told you. We're only done when I say we're done."

Dominic smirked, sitting down at the table I was sitting at. I nervously put my coffee cup down, slowly looking at him.

"Dominic, why can't you just accept the fact that we're over and done with? I don't want to be with you anymore. It's just not working out for me."

"You only wanna be with that sorry ass loser of yours.. what's her name..? Jocelyn?"

"You know her damn name. It's Jayden. Not that it would matter to you. We aren't even together, anyways. We're just friends."

"Mhm. Friends my ass. You sure are super close for a pair of friends."

I could tell by Dominic's tone of voice and body language that he was becoming angry. But it wasn't his business regardless. I wasn't his business anymore. I never really was to begin with.

"Dominic —"

"Listen, Jenna. I just think you should reconsider our relationship. I mean, what can Jayden do for you that I can't? I can give you everything she can, plus way more."

"You okay here, Jenna? You look kinda uncomfortable."

I looked to my side to see Devyn standing there with an iced coffee in her hand.

Thank the heavens for her. She just saved my ass.

"Oh, hi, Devyn. I'm fine, I was just asking my ex boyfriend if he can kindly leave me alone."

"You heard the lady. Leave her alone before there's some serious issues. You wouldn't wanna get punched in the face again. I remember seeing that in the blogs."

Devyn evilly chuckled, taking the free seat next to me. Dominic's temper started rising, and he stood up, storming out of the door in complete anger.

I started to laugh at his reaction, looking back over at Devyn.

"Thanks for that. I was praying to myself that something or someone would stop him from talking. God answered my prayers very quickly."

"Yeah, no problem. I couldn't stand that kid regardless. Him and his music sucks."

Devyn shrugged and took a sip of her coffee. I chuckled and took a sip of mine as well.

"The way I actually agree with you."

"You have no choice but to agree with me. It's the truth. What are you doing today? We have a day off from filming."

"Nothing really. After this, I was going to go to a few stores to shop. How about you? Where's Olivia?"

"I don't think Olivia and I are really going to work out. We had a mutual decision last night that we would be better off as just friends. We just have too much differences going on."

"Yeah, I understand. Liv can be pretty difficult sometimes."

"Totally. She took her flight back home this morning. We needed our space. Sooo... you and Jay, huh? What's that all about?"

"Long story short, Jayden has been my biggest celebrity crush for the longest. I met her on the set of Saturday Night Live, and we just hit it off from there. We aren't together officially, but I think it's going to come to that point very soon."

I blushed hard as I explained. Just even talking about Jayden when she's not around just brings me nothing but joy.

"Nice... look, about all of that stuff she told you about me stealing her girlfriends, I know it was stupid of me. I was young and jealous of all the bad females she would get. I've changed though. I'm not like that anymore."

"You don't have to explain none of that to me. I would just hope you would change to better yourself."

"I have.. I just wish Jayden could see that instead of accusing me of being the same old Devyn."

"Maybe one day, you'll get her to see. Look, I gotta go. I'll see you later on. Thanks for getting Dominic to go away, though. I highly appreciate you."

I smiled lightly before grabbing my coffee and walking out of the coffee shop.

As soon as I got into a taxi, I tried giving Jayden a FaceTime call. But, to my surprise, no answer this time.

Which was weird, because she always was the one to answer on the first ring. Maybe she's just busy. I should have nothing to worry about.

Right?
