*JENNA'S POV* Why did I do that?! Why did I almost blurt out that I love Jayden?! It's too soon! What if she doesn't even feel the same? What if she thinks I'm weird?!
After hanging up the phone, I started to panic. What made me panic even more is that she didn't even call back. I definitely weirded her out..
"You didn't weird her out, Jenna. I know my sister. She probably just needs time to process what just happened."
Mason informed me after I panicked to him. I shook my head and looked at him.
"So why didn't she call back? If I didn't weird her out, she would've called me back even if I did hang up first."
"Just calm down, Jen. You guys will he just fine. I know my sister. Jayden isn't going to let a good girl like you go, especially if she really likes you."
"You should really just listen to Mase. He knows what he's talking about. If Jayden really cares for you like she says she does, you have nothing to worry about."
Devyn suddenly popped up, giving her input. Mason patted Devyn on her back and winked.
"Dev knows what she's talking about. I'm gonna go check on Jasmin and Melissa. I'll be back."
Mason then walked off, leaving me alone with Devyn. Devyn noticed I was in panic mode.
"What's wrong though? You okay? You seem to be freaking out about something with Jayden."
"I accidentally almost told her that I love her. And instead of even finishing the sentence, I hung up the phone. And she never called back."
"From the Jayden I know, she's probably just as panicked. She's just now getting over Selena, so she's still trying to process her new life without her. I don't think you necessarily weirded her out, she just needs time to learn how to love again."
"I really hope you and Mason are correct. I dreamed so long about this moment. Now that I'm finally getting it, I don't wanna do anything to mess it up."
"You won't. Hey, what are you doing later? Maybe we can go grab something to eat. You know, to calm you down and whatnot."
Is Devyn subliminally flirting with me? Or is she genuinely trying to be nice?
"Do you really think that's a good idea? There's paparazzi and fans everywhere. They're going to be taking a lot of photos, everyone is going to see us together and think something."
"Let them think whatever they want. We know what the truth is."
"Will Jayden know though? And will she believe you?"
"Probably not. But she'll believe you if you tell her. Just trust me, we'll be just fine. What do you say?"
"Fine. But if I get in trouble by Jayden, it's on your ass." - - - - In the mist of getting ready to go out with Devyn later that night, I tried calling Jayden back for myself. But nothing, as I expected.
"Hey, this is Jayden. Leave your name and number at the beep and I'll give you a call back."
"Uh, hey, Jay.. it's me, Jenna. Look, about last night, I apologize if I weirded you out. I'm not apologizing for saying it, because I meant it. I'm just apologizing because I might've scared you. Just please call me back when you can. We need to talk about this."
I sighed and hung up the phone. My eyes started to fill with tears as I thought about the possibility of me messing things up with Jayden. It was true, though. I'm not sorry for loving her, I'm just sorry for making her uncomfortable.
People might think, how do you fall in love with her so fast if you guys just met recently?
If you might've already forgotten, she's been my biggest celebrity crush for years on end. When I met her, I was already head over heels for her. If just took me a little while longer to get to know her as a person for me to officially fall in love with her.
But maybe that's apart of my problem. Maybe I fall in love too fast. Jayden is just getting over a breakup with Selena. Why would I expect her to feel the same exact way for me that fast?
As the thoughts kept racing through my mind, something told me to go on Instagram. So I did. And what I seen just made me furious. Jayden made a new post about ten minutes ago, but can't call me back or return none of my text messages.

Lauren Jauregui? Really? Is she possibly messing around with Lauren too, and that's why she hasn't been contacting me? Or am I just overthinking this situation way too much?
