Not as Easy

Flew Past ✔️

-Cassidy's POV-

These four days flew past, the next thing I knew I was at the airport about to board my plane to fly to North Carolina. My mom had to work, so Kyle, Tyler, and Malory brought me to the airport and waited with me.

"Flight 234 to North Carolina, first class now boarding" the intercom said.

I got up and I quickly hugged Tyler but then he pulled me into a big hug, then I hugged Malory for what seems like forever "I'll see you soon?" She nodded with tears streaming down her face.

I saw Kyle and his face was puffy he rarely ever cried. The only time I saw him cry was when the mets lost the World Series. I hugged him tight. "I love you, I'll see you soon." Then we kissed.

"Last call for North Carolina" the intercom said and I walked to my plane, handed the lady my ticket. She took it and I walked through the tunnel to my seat.

I looked out my plane seats window and Kyle was standing there right at the window inside. He was crying. I took out my beats headphones and put my phone on airplane mode. I looked back at where Kyle was, he was still standing there looking at me. I waved to him and blew him a kiss, he mouthed 'I love you'. Then he walked off, I shut the window curtain, looks like I'm sitting alone. I put my headphones on and put my songs on shuffle. "Crash My Party" by Luke Bryan came on and bursted into tears. The lady on the next isle over came and sat next to me.

"Sweetie are you okay" the middle aged women asked me.

I nodded, "I'm fine, the song that came on is mine and my boyfriends song and I had to leave him to spend the summer with my father."

"It's going to be okay, lucky your only 969 miles away. My husband is across seas protecting our country" she smiled at me. I nodded and smiled at her, she put a hand on my shoulder "love can get through distance" she finished ten walked back to her seat. Then plane took off and listened to music, and soon fell asleep.

I was shaken awake by the women who gave me advice. "Sweetie the plane landed, we are free to go" she gave me a sweet smile. I nodded put my headphones in my back pack and my phone in my pocket. I grabbed my book bag and walked off the plane.

I walk off the plane and saw my dad standing there, he hugged me but I didn't hug back. We walked to baggage claim, I got my neon pink and baby blue suit case.

We walked to my dads car and he told me it would a hour and a half ride so I feel asleep again. I really just wanted to sleep away the summer.

I woke up again "hey dad, what's Nash like?" I said in my tired voice.

"Well he's really funny, loud, and he always has friends over. Nash and Hayes just got out of school today. So they are going to a beach party, they want you come along too Cass. You should go." He said all cheery

"I'll go, and do anything with this family, on one condition. My Boyfriend and two best friends get to come up here for Fourth of July and stay the rest of the summer." I stated.

He sighed "okay, but they can't come Fourth of July. We are having a party and they won't feel comfortable. So the middle of July they can come."

I squealed. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much."

--At the house--

I was about to grab my bags when, my dad grabbed them for me. "Thank you." I smiled and followed him inside this really big house. Like it was crazy big. It had to have 7 bedrooms. I walk inside to a really big and open great room that had a giant couch and large TV. That opened into the kitchen, it was my dream kitchen. The kitchen over looked the pool and big backyard. There was a open staircase that went upstairs. "I'm gonna go explore, hopefully I don't get lost." I said to my dad.
