Thank you Eliza!!!
I'm honestly sad it's so hard to bring some of you to press that little star, since a lot of readers seem to enjoy the story.
Those stars keep me motivated and help with the rankings. And isn't it a very respectful gesture in return for the hours I spend writing this stuff for you every day? Thank you all for those stars and comments. And for reading these stories!
Drama.
Maybe Misa should've decided to cause a real dramatic scene during the party.
As she stood at the bar, her now half-full bottle of water in one hand and her gaze fixed on her glowing girlfriend, she was suddenly quiet as hell. She made no move at all.
And that was such an enormous mistake.
Because if Misa had known what was going to happen that night - and if someone had told her beforehand how this would end - she probably would've preferred to drag Erin away from the party herself.
But that wasn't the case. Thanks to the alcohol.
Better said thanks to Martha, who once again hadn't disappointed by putting the group in an excellent, drunken state.
How else would it be?
Misa had just finished her bottle of still water, when she was called back into the middle of the dance floor by the other group members, who were eagerly waiting for Real Madrid's goalkeeper to return.
And the more shots Misa took, the more time passed, and the more intimate she danced with the others, the more the thoughts surrounding Erin drifted off into the back of her head.
Too bad for her.
Because even if Alexia didn't do it maliciously, Erin felt much better and more comfortable around her than she expected.
While the two of them didn't exchange many words, the slightly quieter environment, combined with the gentle breeze and sound of the sea as she sat on that comfortable couch with Alexia, felt really good.
It felt just right.
In the meantime, Erin's headache was getting much better, but even though she had promised to dance with her girlfriend, she preferred to pretend that the pain pill didn't help.
In fact, the sensation of Alexia beside her felt so good and comfortable, that she didn't even notice how she had moved a bit closer to the captain.
It happened naturally.
Their thighs brushed against each other, ever so slightly, and while Erin didn't notice it, thanks to her still quite solid alcohol level, it lit a fire inside the athlete's head.
Feeling goosebumps form on her skin underneath the smooth, white fabric of her casual suit pants, Alexia felt Erin's cold fingers brushing against her knee, all innocent. And she had a hard time not to let her thoughts wander.
No, Alexia had no malicious intentions.
But as she mentioned this morning, she wouldn't miss a chance.
For as Erin's eyes fell shut in relaxation - the captian even wondering if she fell asleep - Alexia let her eyes wander through the crowd.
In the process, she didn't just spot Misa and Leila having their fun on the dance floor with a couple of strangers, but also Martha writing up a list of music recommendations for the DJ.
And by the time the next song started, and as Alexia's heart skipped a beat, Erin's eyes abruptly fluttered open.
No, Erin hadn't been asleep.
