Thank you Eliza!!!
"You're not really going to... are you crazy?!", Erin gasps, clutching the door handle as she squeezes herself back into the passenger seat, holding her breath as Martha takes yet another risky turn at a corner.
"Relax, Erin... it may feel worse than it is. Most likely because you're used to left-hand traffic and- oops, that was close", Martha explains, but startles when all of a sudden, a car appears from their right.
Luckily for both of them, the black-haired's reaction was quick enough, so she was able to stop the car just before they'd collide with the white van.
"Ay dios mio... I didn't see that coming", Martha chuckles, looking to her left and right, before maneuvering the car around another corner.
Erin, on the other hand, just clings to the door handle, eyes wide and lips parted.
As if she had any control over what happened while they were driving.
"You know... I have no plans on dying this young", the blonde mumbles under her breath as her heart pounds rapidly, adrenaline pumping through her veins.
"Don't worry... you'll have plenty of time with your beloved... we're almost there", Martha chuckles as she speeds through yet another yellow traffic light, causing Erin to hold her breath once again, until the training ground is finally in sight.
The blonde doesn't answer.
But she definitely felt the blush on her cheeks, the mention of Alexia causing her heart to skip a beat.
She couldn't wait to see this stunning woman again.
After two attempts to park the car - it wasn't uncommon for the black-haired to require more than one attempt to pull into her parking spot - Erin felt a wave of relief rush through her system as Martha shut off the engine.
"Thanks for the... ride, Martha.... though I'm glad it's over", Erin chuckles, immediately opening the door to get out, fearing that otherwise the therapist might have another idea of where they could go.
"Anytime, hermana", the black-haired smiles, not even realizing how ironic it was what Erin said, as she flips down the sunshade in front of her, quickly checking herself in the mirror, before following after Erin.
"Are you done? I don't want to be late for my first session", Erin quietly mumbles to herself, and nervously casts a glance down at her watch, only to realize that it's only five minutes until the cardio workout is scheduled.
Most of the athletes must be there already.
"This isn't England, Erin... no one will mind if the therapists are a little late. Jonathan won't be mad at you if you...", Martha explains, awkwardly gesturing with her hands, pretending as if being late was no big deal - maybe to her.
"Hola", a soft, somewhat shy voice echoes from behind them, footsteps approaching quickly as the two therapists slow their pace.
At the sound of that voice, Erin's breath hitches.
"Capitána! You're late. Is everything okay?", Martha instantly teases the athlete, while Alexia walks a little faster to keep up with them, her hair pulled up into a ponytail, a shy smile lingering on her lips, cheeks flushed in a light shade of rose.
"I'm... I could say the same as you. I was stuck in traffic", the midfielder mutters, not really interested in talking to Martha at the moment, as she has been seeing the therapist for years.
It was the other therapist she was interested in.
"Hola Erin... how are you doing? I see you're still alive", the captain chuckles as she walks with them, one hand holding her gym bag, while the other immediately finds its way to the small of Erin's back.
