Thank you Eliza!!!
Another today because I'm extremely motivated (even though we didn't reach the stars yet, but I'm sure we'll reach it anyways). Don't forget to press that little star, as you know those make me super happy. Speaking of that...
Happiness.
Define this word.
Was happiness a moment? Or a permanent state? Or a moment everyone strives towards as a permanent state? Was it something or someone that could make you happy? Or was it a place?
There were probably a thousand ways to describe happiness.
Happiness. A feeling Erin longed for the moment Alexia spoke those words aloud, throwing her the question about what would make her happy.
And to be honest, Erin was so stuck in her mind, and so overwhelmed by everything that had happened in those last few minutes, that this question being thrown at her, along with the argument she'd just endured, was really getting on her nerves.
Dropping her fork as her trembling hand was unable to hold it any longer, the blonde shut her eyes to banish everyone - including María and Alexia - from her mind for a second, feeling herself on the verge of tears.
Again.
Erin took her time, wondering what answer to give or how to respond, but the feeling of all eyes on her, while she had her head down, was too much.
There was no answer for this question, and for this word. Happiness. At least not for the moment.
Not right now.
"I'm... I don't know," Erin mumbles unsurely.
It took another minute for her to be able to look up, because no one dared to speak up, or say something and confuse the blonde even more.
But the moment Erin raises her head, her cheeks rosy and her face pale, her gaze is immediately captured by those sparkling, hazel eyes that belong to the woman, whom Erin had admitted to herself that she was the one.
Alexia.
The power her eyes held.
The blonde didn't realize that she was continuously staring into those sparkling, hazel eyes, this gaze seeming to trap her, because Erin wasn't able to look anywhere else, until another sound was heard.
It was the sound of a chair being shoved backwards, before hurried footsteps were heard walking away and up the stairs.
Erin didn't have to take her eyes off Alexia to know that Misa walked away, and the goalkeeper basically ran up the stairs to get away from this situation as quickly as possible.
She most likely wished this conversation hadn't happened.
"What's happening here? I really don't understand what this is all about and... if I had known it was getting this serious, I would've taken precautions and saved myself another bottle of...", Martha wonders, her jaw still hanging open wide as she watches Alexia and Erin look at each other.
She even wondered if they were still breathing.
"How about you shut up for once, Martha?", Leila suggests, putting her index finger in front of her lips to signal the therapist she'd better shut up right now.
"Well, I had no idea you're on your period, as well", the black-haired mumbles, mainly to herself, before loading her plate with another portion of the delicious dinner that Misa has prepared.
