Thank you Eliza!!!
The following morning, after what felt like a never ending night in heaven, Alexia rolled onto her back, her smooth brunette hair completely disheveled, body exhausted from last nights activities.
Rays of sun filter through opened curtains, allowing the midfielder to have a perfect view over the oceans crystal clear water.
The first thing she realized as her eyes roamed through the room, was the time on the little alarm clock to her left.
It was already past her usual getup time.
The next thing she realized was the empty spot in bed beside her, the spot cold where a stunning blonde had been laying all night.
Immediately, the captain panics.
"Mierda... no no no... not again", Alexia pants nervously, running her fingers through her long, disheveled hair as she pushes the blanket off her bare body, limbs exhausted from last nights activities as she moves.
However, the captain couldn't help but fear that Erin had left like she did in Ibiza.
Again.
With her heart racing, Alexia quickly reaches for one of her baggy shirts, almost stumbling over her own feet as she hastily pulls a black slip up her legs, heading straight for the door.
"B... Bonita!", she nervously calls out, a little too loud maybe, as she pulls the door open.
The captain was surprised when, the second she bursts into the combined living area, she found two pairs of eyes staring at her from the kitchen in shock.
"Um... hi?", a surprised voice replies, a shocked expression plastered on Erin's face as she gazes at a completely bewildered Alexia standing by the door.
Nala, on the other hand, seemed to be bothered by her owner disturbing her peace, for she'd found comfort in the blondes secure hold.
With her paws propped up on Erin's shoulders, enjoying the therapist holding her close, the little princess casted Alexia a questioning glare.
Adorable.
"I'm ... oh", the captain breathes, relieved and overwhelmed at the same time, hand resting on her chest as she leans against the doorframe, feeling her heart skip a beat at the realization of what Erin did.
A couple of seconds later she felt a pair of cold hands reaching out for her, palms running up the athletes strong arms, sparkling eyes gazing at her.
"What's wrong, love?", the blonde wonders, cupping Alexia's chin between her thumb and pointer finger, eyebrows furrowed with concern.
It was the moment she gently guides the brunettes chin up and towards her, causing Alexia's sparkling hazel eyes to meet hers, that she noticed the blush on the captains cheeks.
Ducking her head bashfully as she reaches up, trembling palms covering her blushed visage, Alexia releases a frustrated sigh.
"This is... so embarrassing", she mumbles to herself, completely embarrassed for freaking out like that.
It was a pair of ice cold hands settling on her waist, together with the dogs paws propping up against her leg as Erin had set Nala down on her way over, that Alexia started to realize that Erin hadn't left.
That she was still there.
"You really thought I left", the blonde wonders, tilting her head to the side, a hint of teasing in her voice as she rubs soothing circles on Alexia's hipbones, stepping closer.
