As the date for the meetup with Alex approached, Mokuba had gathered everything needed for the disguises. For Seto, he got a blonde wig and clothes that were different from Seto's business casual style. Mokuba got himself a short green haired wig and clothes that looked goth. Seto seemed to think that his disguise was pretty plain and would blend in with a crowd easily. Mokuba's clothes on the other hand were quite the opposite.

"You're going to make us stick out like a sore thumb!" Seto exclaimed.

"No, I'm not!" Mokuba retaliated.

"Who have you met that has had green hair?!" Seto asked.

"You!" Mokuba replied.

"WHAT?!" You exclaimed.

Mokuba smirked. "Back when we were young-"

Seto covered Mokuba's mouth and whispered something in his ear. You watched them both confused. They quietly talked to each other so you couldn't hear them. You'd ask Mokuba about it, later in private.

After their little conversation, Seto grabbed his disguise and walked off to his room. Mokuba grabbed his stuff and walked off to his room. You followed Mokuba hoping for some answers to questions you now had.

"So what happened?" You asked.

"He said if I tell you anything, I could kiss my allowance goodbye." He replied.

:/

You both walked to your own rooms. While they got ready, you decided to get dressed as well. You didn't really try to dress nice or anything. Once you got ready you waited for them in the living room.

The first to get ready was Mokuba. You looked him up and down, trying to figure if the green wig was really fitting the whole disguise. After a mental debate, you figured it was better than Mokuba wearing his long hair out. Alex would notice.

You gave Mokuba a thumbs up of approval. Mokuba practically jumped for joy at your measly little thumbs up. As he did that, Seto came down.

"I told you the wig looks fine!!" Mokuba exclaimed.

"It looks questionable." He stated.

It was so weird to see Seto in his disguise. You couldn't help but stare a bit. The blonde hair was not working for him. Maybe you were just used to seeing him as a brunette. You gave him a thumbs up as well. He shrugged it off but you could see a slight smile forming on his face.

You all piled into your car and headed off for the coffee shop. When you arrived, you went over the plan. You would go in first and then a few minutes later they would come in and find a seat close to them. You were going to at least hear what Alex had to say and then tell him what you wanted to do.

With everything discussed, you left to go inside first. Alex was already inside and waiting at a table. You ordered yourself a chamomile tea before joining him at the table. You both exchanged pleasantries and some small talk.

A few minutes later Seto and Mokuba walked in. Luckily Alex really didn't take note of them. You only noticed they were there because they sat right behind Alex. It took everything not to laugh but their presence brought you some comfort.

"I'm sorry for what happened. I let my emotions get the better of me." He started.

"Thanks." You replied.

You didn't really want to accept his apology but it seemed pretty sincere at least.

"Listen, I think it's-

"Wait before you continue, I got you something." He interrupted you.

You watched as he reached for his backpack. He pulled out a box and handed it to you. Inside was a stuffed bear, candy, a bracelet and a gift card. You looked at everything, gave a small smile and a thank you.

It made you feel a little bad for what you wanted to tell him and what you wanted to do. He got you all this stuff. You were friends. You took a breath. This had to be done.

"Alex. We need some boundaries." You start.

You wait for his reaction to continue. So far he seemed to just listen.

"I think it's best for us to go no contact. I need time to decide what to do and rethink our friendship." You continued.

"Did they put you up to this?!" Alex asked raising his voice.

"N-no one put me up to this." You replied.

"You were never like this before. They're putting thoughts into your head." He said.

"No one's putting thoughts in my head. This is exactly why I think we should stop talking." You tried to continue.

"Everyone is worried about you. Why are you acting so differently?" He asked.

"Maybe because you punched the shit out of me!" You replied, raising your voice.

You sat back and took a breath to calm yourself. You both sat in silence for a bit to collect yourselves and for people to stop staring.

"Fine. If it's what you want, I'll back off." Alex stated.

"Thank you." You said.

"Just watch. They're going to get bored of you and get rid of you when they're done. Then you'll be crawling back to me, begging to come back." He spits out.

"They're not just going to abandon me." You try to retaliate.

"Oh, yes they will. Why would they keep you around? They hardly know you. You're showing them how you treat a friend you've known since forever. You should feel lucky I still consider you my friend." He scolded you.

You sat there a bit stunned at what he said. You watched as he got his stuff and left. You weren't even really sure how to act. You felt like shit. Was this even the right thing to do? He had helped you before in the past but you couldn't handle how he treated you anymore.

You jumped when a hand landed on your shoulder. You looked up the hand's owner and you were met by a Seto in disguise. He handed you a handkerchief. It wasn't until you grabbed it, that you noticed the tears falling down your face. Quickly you turned your face away and wiped away your tears.

"You've done a lot for me and Mokuba. I would never get rid of you." He stated.

"Not that he could get rid of you. He'd have to get rid of me first!" Mokuba chipped in.

You giggled at that and Mokuba wrapped his arms around you.

"You're our friend now. You don't need that jerk!" Mokuba stated.

You hugged Mokuba back. They both managed to make you feel better. With that you all left and you drove home. On the way home you were tempted to stop by a cake shop.

"Should we get something to celebrate Seto's first outing?" You asked.

"Yes!" Mokuba exclaimed.

"No. It doesn't count if I'm in disguise." Seto replied.

You shrugged. You lowkey felt like eating some cake though. Maybe another time, when Seto actually did manage to step outside as himself. That would be a bigger accomplishment. You were still proud of him and grateful for his support.
