Forgiveness

After their heated argument, Soldier and Demoman avoided each other for a few days. It was clear that both men were still angry and hurt by what had transpired between them. Soldier couldn't help but feel guilty for losing his temper and hurting his lover.

One day, as Soldier was walking through the base, he saw Demoman sitting alone in the mess hall. Soldier hesitated for a moment before walking over and taking a seat across from him.

"Listen, Demoman," Soldier said, his voice softening. "I'm sorry for what I said the other day. I was out of line and I didn't mean to hurt you."

Demoman looked up at Soldier, surprised by his apology. "It's not all your fault, Soldier. I shouldn't have let my temper get the best of me either."

Soldier nodded. "We both said things we didn't mean. We're better than that. We're a team, and we need to have each other's backs."

Demoman smiled slightly. "Aye, that we are. I'm sorry too, Soldier. I know I can get carried away sometimes."

Soldier reached across the table and clasped Demoman's hand. "It's alright, Demoman. We're both passionate about what we do, and sometimes that can lead to disagreements. But we're stronger when we work together."

Demoman nodded in agreement. "Aye, we are. I'm glad we can put this behind us and move on."

Soldier smiled back. "Me too, Demoman. Me too."

With that, the two men sat in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company once again.They knew that they would always have each other's backs, no matter what.
