The end

As Soldier and Demoman continued to fight side by side, their love for each other only grew stronger. They would steal moments of intimacy whenever they could, sharing stolen kisses and whispered words of love in between battles.

But one fateful day, as they charged into battle against the enemy team, a stray rocket struck Soldier directly in the chest. Demoman watched in horror as his lover fell to the ground, his lifeless body crumpling into the dirt.

In his grief and rage, Demoman fought with a ferocity that even he didn't know he possessed. He took down dozens of enemy soldiers, his anger pushing him forward as he sought revenge for Soldier's death.

But as the smoke cleared and the battle ended, Demoman realized the terrible truth: he was all alone now, without the love of his life by his side. He sat in the midst of the battlefield, tears streaming down his face as he mourned the loss of Soldier.

From that day forward, Demoman fought with a heavy heart, his thoughts constantly returning to the man he had loved and lost. He never forgot Soldier, and always carried a piece of him in his heart, but the pain of his loss never truly went away.
