Leaving Talokan was a little sad for me.

Its crazy to think  the place I wanted to  escape from was now the place I would miss.

To see a place that is hidden from the outside world was special.

All the rumors and stories Princess Shuri told the nation about Talokan ,I got to experience and find out for myself.

Even though I was placed in a  unfortunate situation, I  would  still  never understand why I was taken so abrupt , but I am glad It all happened.

I got to discover some truth about my identity which has changed my point of view of  how I see the world. I was still so desperate into learning more. I didn't quite understand my powers yet,  or how I even got them. I am hoping being back in Wakanda I could dig a little more into what caused this.

I was ready to be back in Wakanda and reunite with my baba and take care of him. But, In some strange way, I missed the ocean.

My body craved to be in it all day, but I had to adjust to the outside environment quickly. I'm just grateful I can last on land as long as I can in water.

Not only  did I miss the ocean, but Namor.

He crosses my mind many times. His lingering kisses and his scent hits me at random times of the day. I've tried so hard to not think of  those moments we've had together but its hard.

 I miss him.

Our connection was something I still couldn't understand completely.  Its like when he is away, my mind is clear. But when he is with me or around me, I cant think straight. I didn't know if that was bad or good.

I just continue to hold onto the experience I had with him in hopes he wouldn't forget me.

month later

Queen Shuris pov

The palace has been quite laid back since the return of our citizen Asha.  King M'baku has taken my word and has not questioned on how or when she returned, but to trust my words.

He was always on my side, and trusted me. Besides, he bestowed me as his right hand.

Even though I was Queen, I haven't really honored the acts of a queen. I've been to focused on researching this Wakanda's DNA.

I buried myself in my lab, but haven't been able to find anything. I was now well aware of her abilities, powers and who she was because of what she told me.  I did my best to not speak of it to anyone.

I wasn't to close to her, but I was curious to know how much she saw of Talokan. I wanted to know her encounter with the man who killed Queen mother, and threated to destroy our nation.

What I wanted to know even more what was the reason for him to take one girl and hold her hostage.

The reasons he gave me, to surrender  ? didn't make any sense.  For him to take one single citizen and threaten me once again was wild!

So, there had to be more to this than what I thought.

I start to wonder what Asha may have encountered with him. Knowing how charming he was, he could make anyone fall under his spell.

Anything could have happened down their.

secret conversations, and heart to heart talks.

My blood started to boil when I thought about it.

Why did this make me feel this way?

Ashas pov

As I peak my head into my babas room his fast asleep on the bed snoring quietly.

I slowly close his door and quietly make my way toward the door. It was late at night around 2 am, and no one is probably up at these hours.

I sneak out the door and down the stairs and start to sprint toward training grounds. Okoye has  planned to meet every night to focus on my power training. She knew nothing of controlling powers, but she could somehow help me maintain my strength while doing so.

As I see her in the distance I walk to her rapidly. I look around making sure no one was in sight.

"Took you long enough, we don't have long. ." She says and I nod and drop everything to the ground.

She drinks from her bottle before turning to me. "Now, tonight we will focus on your breathing. It seems like your breathing and mental state is tied into you emerging this power source gracefully."

I nod my head and take my stance. "Try not to target me this time, when emerging it ok?" She says cautiously  and I start to breathe in slowly.

"Now, exhale, slowly." She says and I exhale slowly letting the air leave my mouth slowly.

"Now focus on your center. where the source is." She says and I  close my eyes and lift my hands to the sky.

"Good, now slowly bring it forward. Remember, it doesn't control you, you do."

I nod my head with my eyes closed still.

I start to see a strange  white ring in my dark vision and somehow mentally envision it in my hands. I feel and sense something and I open my eyes and gasp as a ball of light appears in both my hands.

Okoye observes me then looks to the lights. "Wow, that is incredible."

I smile as it beams in my hands.  "Its so bright. It reminds me vibranium." She says and I lift my hands bringing them together  to hold, and she steps back abit hesitant.

"Don't worry, I wont strike you this time." I say and she nods and breathes.

Okoye lately has been a little hesitant to be around me. Not because she doesn't care, but because of the change within me. Its a lot for her to take in to me like this now. I always remind her that I'm still me, and that she doesn't need to worry about getting striked again.

"Alright, well you have managed to emerge the light source, lets try to see how we can put it back." Okoye says while she steps back closer to me.

I blink my eyes and squint at the balls of light. I bring my hands to the sides and somehow they start to flicker down and finally disappear.

"How did you do that?" Okoye asks.

"Honestly, its easier to put away then emerge them. I don't why just is." I say as I stare at my hands.

"Good, very good. Has Shuri given you any new information on your dna results?"

"Technically, no. She says that my cells are identical to that of a mutant. But the powers she doesn't understand that still."

"Oh, sounds like its similar to..Namors?" Okoye asks in question.

I look down in thought of Namor and try not to smile. "I don't know, it could be." I say flatly.

I guess Okoye notices my face and clears her throat.

"Speaking of him, do you want to finally tell me what actually happened between you to down there?" She says giving me a look.

I look up to Okoye meeting her gaze and we slowly smile at each other.
