Wakanda Palace
M'Baku sits on the throne in deep conversation with Princess Shuri. They talk about the conflict between Talokan and their own nation trying to find a solution.
"I told you, these people are dangerous. As I've said before, what makes you think this fish man wont come back and ask for more?"
"I don't know, but obviously you are right, if he has taken one of our own." Shuri sighs and looks down. "But, I threatened him that I would come with war..again." Princess Shuri knew in her heart she didn't want to do that again.
"Did you ask why he took this Wakandan?" M'Baku asks curiously.
"Yes, but technically his answer was not clear. Its all for the same reason anyways. To side with him."
M'Baku looks at Shuri curiously examining her and she looks up back at him raising her eyebrows. "What?"
"Tell me Shuri, what happened down there when you were with him?" M'baku asks placing his hand under his chin in thought.
Shuri shrugs. " Nothing, he just told me his stories and convinced me to side with him."
" Hmm." M'Baku says and Shrui gives him a funny look. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because that is the face of confusion."
"What do you mean?" Shuri asks and M'Baku picks up his kerrieknob and looks to the warriors in the room. He nods his head in a way to dismiss everyone in the room.
Now it only being him and Shuri.
The throne room is silent and Shuri looks to M'baku as he stares back.
"Shuri, you know you can talk to me, about anything. I am not only the king but also your friend."
"Of course, I just- I have so many confusing emotions toward him. " Shuri says as tears brim in her eyes. "And- I don't know- what- to do."
M'Baku nods his head. "I understand. Especially since this was the person who killed Queen mother."
"It doesn't make sense. Before she was gone, I almost wanted to offer my hand to him.."
"But you know this fish mans intention was no good for the surface. He caught you in the wrong time both your hearts beating in the wrong place."
Shuris tears fall down her face as she listens.
"You two had alot of connection in those times, you were both hurt, but can I ask is there still attra-"
"Yes." Shuri replies quickly wiping her tears "And I wish their wasn't, but M'baku I have no other option in this situation."
"I think its time for you to let this go and focus on other things, I will solve this matter out myself and bring home this Wakandan. Myself."
M'baku sighs. "I will try to do things the peaceful way, alright. Just promise me not to see him again."
Shuri looks down. "I promise."
The connection Shrui felt toward Namor was still their. She never wanted this. Before her mother she was close to siding with him. But once he opened his mouth and spoke of his plan for the surface, and the death of her mother Shuri felt...lost.
Ashas pov
As I swim toward the Wakandan borders I am easily able to temporarily deactivate the virtual wall placed at the entrance. I swim quickly up the river and finally stop reaching land. I come up from the waters and water drips down my body as I scan the area.
The air is humid and crisp as I breathe in the familiar Wakandan air.
I walk out the water onto the land with my bare feet looking around. I hear the sounds of rustling in the bushes and crouch down to see where the sound is coming from.
I hear a bush moving and look in the direction of it. I wince my eyes as suddenly a familiar face pops up. Not just any face But Okoyes.
She stares at me shocked and emerges from the bushes with her spear. "Its me Okoye." I say raising my hands and she eyes me harshly not trusting my words.
I sigh and close my eyes. I roll my tongue and make the only sound her and I know. As soon as I whistle in the air she drops her spear and runs to me to cover my mouth.
"Shhh, I am not the only one out here. Other tribe warriors are here under tight supervision." She whispers in my ear and pulls me over to a tree. Okoye uncovers my mouth and puts her finger to her lips gesturing me to stay quiet.
She looks over to the trail for a second and then nods to me. "Asha, you cannot be here right now."
"Why? I told you I would come."
"I know its just M'Baku has tribes under supervision for any sightings of talokans."
"But you know im not-"
"I know everything." Okoye says as she looks at me. I raise my eyebrows.
"How-?" I never told anyone of my history?
"Shuri. She did some research on you and your father..she knows too."
I close my eyes and cover my mouth. Oh my gosh this isnt good.
"Oh my god, she's going to outcast me from wakanda..my baba I dont know if his okay."
Okoye shakes her head." Asha, Shuri isn't going to do that..and your baba. He is fine. He is facing some time but other than that his okay."
"I have to see him Okoye." I say worried. "He has to see me and know im okay."
Okoye looks down and around before looking back to Asha.
"Listen, I will take you to your baba but you have to cover up and stay hidden." Okoye grabs her head scarf from her head and wraps it around Ashas head.
"Me and you have alot to talk about but for now lets try to get you to your baba. Follow my lead."
(A/N) Now, I know this is Rihanna. This picture was drawn of Rihanna by an incredible artist. But in a way it doesn't look like her. So, I say Asha may appear to look identical like this.
